Yes, Soyeon wrote this. 😊 The story was inspired by Marylin, who was only seen for her looks and the media just focused on that, however she was extremely intelligent, a bookworm, and she was way ahead of her time (I think she was even in the process of starting her own production company at the time of her death). Marylin was a self-made woman, she just laughed when she saw people just focusing on her looks because she knew that she was so much more than that. The message is that we all have a beautiful self, and too many people focus on just our outside appearance, the members said they would rather be hated for who they are instead of being loved for who they are not. And we don't mind the pausing at all, sometimes there is so much going on in (G)I-DLE videos that you have to stop for a bit to take it all in. Thank you again for another great reaction! 😊
