this is a cool video so why do you feel the need to lie
total magnification 100X objective and 10X eyepiece(which you spelled Eyepeice) is 1000X not to mention that is a oil immersion objective so you can't see things normally through it without immersion oil however that doesn't matter much as you got a 40X eyepiece (3:34 on the lable you can see the details 40/65 160/0.17 which is a 40X objective) and said 100X on the captions trying your best to hide the objective lable.
That is leaf is too thick to be able to view the individual cells what you are looking at is algae with the chloroplasts streaming in addition your video shows the image dimming as you zoom in but to achieve such an effect you need to pull the eyepiece out of the tube and you are pushing it in,
I doubt without much fiddling you can even see much with the objective needing to be in the perfect position to achieve the focus you display not to mention with such a dim lightsource the video shown is not possible you made those microscope videos from an actual branded microscope and said your DIY scope was capable of this

Yes. I've worked with microscopes my entire life, and the first thing I've observed was the oil immersion objetive. Moreover, this microscope seems to be a zoom microscope because it is able to magnify without losing focus. I can't believe this DIY microscope produced the images shown in this video.

If you follow some basic rules, you can make an impressive microscope out of junk, it won't win any awards for looks but it will work. Here's to the pursuit of science! (nicely done by the way)

This DIY microscope is all in all easy to make. The most important thing is to have a 100x lens and a 10x lens that are not DIY (!!). It is almost more difficult to build the circuit for the illumination than everything else. However, there is no great knowledge of microscopy. It is not possible to see plant cells if you have not sliced the leaf properly. A whole leaf placed under the lens produces only darkness!
Let's say that this contribution is a good fake!

Sí, la lente objetivo 100X suele ser de inmersión en aceite y no se puede usar así, lo que hizo el tipo en este video fue obtener una lente objetivo 40X, sin embargo, no recomiendo hacer este microscopio de bricolaje, es muy complicado.
