The Windrose Airlines Experience: ATR 72 Economy from Dnipro to Kyiv

Hey everyone! I finally got the chance to fly Windrose's ATR 72 earlier this summer, so here is my review for it! I flew from Dnipro in central Ukraine up to the capital, Kyiv. Compared to the older Embraer 145 that Windrose is using the ATR 72s to replace, the experience you'll get on these turboprops is much different. I hope you enjoy!

I’ve flown on Windrose to and from Kiev to Dnipro. I used to take the train but the convenience of this flight can’t be beat. No frills but quick. Thanks for the review

I revisited this video today 5/24/2024 and it makes me so sad when I think of my flights to Ukraine from 2016-2022! Sometimes, I would take the train from Kyiv to Dnipro and sometime I would fly Windrose from Kyiv to Dnipro. My last visit to Dnipro ended just one month before the war began. We spoke of the plans later that year for expansion to begin at the airport. 😢 I pray every day for the people of Ukraine and for this senseless war to end!! слава Украине💪🇺🇦💪

Thanks for the interesting flight report Josiah! Glad to see ATR 72 in your video.
KBP - NLV was 4 km shorter (373 vs 377 for your flight). But now Windrose flies KBP -> KWG -> NLV (307+146 km), so it's difficult to understand what is the shortest route :)

Can you add more kg to your baggage or it’s allowed only 23 kg

23 kg is the most allowed for the free checked bag. You are also allowed 7 kg of carry-on luggage. If you have any other questions let me know!
