      1985 24-4, 3 losses 2-1.......12 complete games 8 shut outs. A never duplicated 1.54 era, in 32 GAMES! GOODEN IN HIS PRIME. WAS AS GOOD AS ANYONE.

      His downfall, Nothing to do with windup..Mets have a history of handling pitchers well..they have had some crappy teams..but some of the best pitchers ever
