Upgrading to a new machine, it will arrive next week, so this is just in time. I am not a new quilter but my precision is on the questionable side, even as I have watched tons of videos, less with practicing. I am also trying to get my granddaughters interested in quilting so this would be a great gift, in the meantime, my library has this book to borrow for 21 days. Hi Kim. I agree the piecing “glue” is a game changer. I am a fairly new quilter & every time I used pins, no matter how thin they would move or distort my block & seams before I even got them sewn. The Acorn precision piecing kit with the piecing glue & the product that makes your seams lay flat are amazing. Now, if I could just master the HST. Why is it that the most basic shape that is the first in our arsenal for making up all kinds of different blocks is so difficult to get perfect. It is for me anyways. I’d love to take her class Thanks for sharing.
