This was one of the best matches in TNA history two absolute strongest wrestlers, Abyss is the best monster, the rare one being a monster as emotional, kind, but scary and it is very hard to defeat him, Monty Brown was impressive to push himself so hard.
@AHundo1017 Abyss was there first as just a normal guy. That being said, TNA used the same themes for a bunch of guys. You'd often see matches where both guys would come out to the same theme. A ton of guys used the "born in the USA" theme and a few used Abyss' theme.
"The Alpha Male" Monte Brown along with countless others, should been at least a one-time NWA-TNA World Champion. Whether it was on the mic or in the ring, "The Alpha Male" brought it every single time.
Can't help but to think what would've happened if Abyss had gone to wwe in 2006 to feud with the Undertaker. & the situation with Monty Brown with the passing of his sister was sad with Monty decision to step away from pro wrestling to take care of her children. Just when he made it to wwe. We can only wonder what could've been with these two. Thankfully we have their TnA matches. Definitely 2 of my favorite tna/impact stars.
Monty Brown was underrated and it's a shame he wasn't NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion at least once because he was so over at one point even if it was largely because of the Pounce.
