    Very nice 3800!!! Keep the original 4spd on the floor. The 3spd you have is a very light duty car transmission.

      Thank you very much! That is the plan. After looking at it i wouldn't even know how to go about using that 3 speed. It's being donated to a local vocational highschool

    The leaf springs are interesting. It looks like there are two sets. One for light loading.
    Then below them is the other set, which come in to use automatically when there is a load.
    Simple, and (I imagine) effective.

    It Would make working on it a lot easier if you could take the body off the frame!

      I've been debating on making/buying a cradle to do just that and make my life a little easier. Money is tight so i'm trying to pull a few things together to do it safely. Bed needs to come off regardless
