Hey guys! Hope you enjoy the video. Thanks for watching!
Dude, I could watch this kind of videos for HOURS and it wouldn’t be boring at all! 😍🙏
I really appreciate the work and effort you put into making these videos for us, being a drummer for over 30 years now and being a professional camera operator and video editor for over 18 years now, these videos make me smile the whole time 🤩
And yes, of course I made it till the end. Your walk off to the sound of Pantera, can’t get any better I guess 🥴👏
Have a good one, and I‘m really excited to see the next video of „Drum Tech POV“
Best wishes from Germany 🇩🇪, Philipp 👋
Hell yes, we enjoy these videos!
I watch all your videos. I'm a drummer and I love how everything is put together before we go into action
hei man i f... love this vid, it brings lots of memoris of years there i played live as a drumer, but in a much smaler level of course, this was such a great experience to be able to watch inside the big lig, thanks man ROCK ON
I saw FIR in Alpharetta GA with AX7 and Kim Dracula.
They sounded sooo good live! I thought they stole the show honestly, I'd give my left and right nut to do what you do. I'm sure it's a tough job, but I can imagine it's very rewarding.
as a drummer, this is very interesting to watch. thank you for this very special look into what goes on backstage. \,,\
I didn't even realize how amazing the line up for bands was until i looked up the festival and saw the list.
This is seriously sick!! Thank you very much for taking the extra time and effort to document this whole process and add notes to the whole thing!
Very cool to see the festival gig! “ Walking” along to “ Domination” ? That’s a once in a lifetime deal right there!!
Thank you Matt… you take us to stages we may never see… been playing for 50 yrs now… what a great insight to back stage … love it…. Jim 👍🏻
Louder then Life is only like 5 years old, is one of the fastest growing massive music festivals in the states and the ticket prices aren't too bad but they sell out very quickly.
When the Parkway Drive drums came in ☠️☠️☠️
its weird, like a tommy lee move 30 yers later.
@@krusher74 super ghey

Keep it up Matt! Really enjoying the vids man

It's enjoyable to see what other people do for a living... the processes and tasks they need to accomplish. They seem very involved, but are done so smoothly. And of course we all make mistakes no matter what kind of job - and learn from them. Thank you for sharing.
This is very cool to watch. Working in a whole different industry (F1 racing) and seeing a lot of similarities. I LOVE when our teams can acknowledge and hear our instructions like at 9:35 ..
I've gotten people that get cocky and say thing like "I know, don't gotta tell me twice." and they end up fucking up later. About 90% of the crew works together but that 10% is why we gotta have those same boring meetings every morning.
Stellar video, made it the whole way through. Not enough love given or thought of for the crew behind the bands/festivals from your average attendee, the show can't go on without you guys! Much props 🤘
I was at Louder than Life! It’s really cool seeing what happens behind the scenes and cool to see what a drum tech does.
Very cool! It’s awesome that you can walk in front of the stage for a quick look see! Keep this videos coming!
Love this Matt! Thanks for bringing us along. Gotta be honest, I didn’t know who were the drum tech for, and then I heard watch the world burn come in and I was mind blown!! Dude I can’t even imagine being a drum tech for Luke, Holland, in my opinion, one of the top drummers in the world. Dude you gotta keep these vids coming if you can. I thoroughly enjoyed it!!!
Two former The Word Alive drummers working with Falling In Reverse. Amazing.
That kit is amazing. I enjoyed seeing behind the scenes. No bs just a guy who gets his job done.
Very rare for me to watch a video this long all the way through but I’ve watched all of these all the way through. I really appreciate your work and love seeing all of the attention to detail. Luke is an amazing drummer and he’s lucky to have you as his tech!! Great video!!!
UGH that kit is pretty much the one I'd imagine playing when I air drum late at night hahaha, awesome BTS footage here it's incredible just how much effort goes into preparing everything before even sound check.
Thank you so very much for bringing us along for the ride! Exceptional work as always, and the behind the scenes look at just how much work and dedication from men (and women) like you goes into putting on shows for all of us to enjoy! Plus, not gonna lie, this long format is amazing too. Nothing goes untouched!
As a retired touring guitar tech, and thank you for posting this and showing what our job is like. The life of techs!!
I'm a guitarist for about 30 years now but I find these videos extremely satisfying! 😂
This is so awesome! The pleasure is to watch you doing your job so well and so calm. I love this touring vibe, so much stuff is going on over there. Thank you man for such a cool content.
Thank you SO much for these videos that you're posting. When I was in college, nearly 30 years ago, I worked on the local crew of the multi-purpose building for concerts. Mostly did load-in and load-out, but also got to do some spotlight operation. I was always amazed by the road crew guys, walking around with their all-access laminates and directing us to get things set up with a practiced precision that made a pretty cool gig even more amazing. I was always jealous of those guys and what all they got to do. This behind the scenes look you give us is amazing and really takes me back to my days in college, climbing into the trusses to sit on a 2ft square piece of wood bolted to a truss beside a spotlight, chasing CC DeVille around the stage to keep him lit. Thanks again, for letting us into your "office" and I can't wait for the next video. "Domination" is a great way to end the day.
Was a drum tech for a few years, about twenty or so years ago... Living vicariously thru these... Damn it takes me back. You got your shit tight man. Keep it up, stay safe, and F Yea!!
This was my dream for the longest time. Now I get to see it unfold through your videos. Loving every second
21:02 disturbed - down with the sickness!! f*ck yeeeeeeah. Man your content is awesome! I am a drummer myself, I would love to have a job like yours. My father and I own a mobile stage here in Argentina, and we went to numerous festivals with it around the country, and it is awesome, the ambient, the different crews, the whole process for getting ready all the things for the show...your video made me feel that unique ambient that generates around festivals, of course from the crew point of view. I'm a metalhead, unfortunately for me, most of our festival weren't metal festivals, but one in particular was great, it is called "cosquin rock" and it is one of the most important festivals in the country. I would love to be in the scene of metal festivals in the USA, that would be awesome!. New subscriber here! That way of ending the night was sooooo sick!! I hope to see more content from you, cheers bro!
I can watch your content for hours man. Thank you for bringing us with you on those awesome stages. ❤
Great to see some backstage footage of Ben's kit from PWD.
I've seen them live a couple of times here in their home country of Australia.
ROCK ON!
Already love it!
Really great video. I was fascinated all the way through. Just amazing what all goes on to make a huge show like that happen.
By the time you get to THIS level..you’ve earned a ‘drum tech’. 3 bands, a 6-pc TAMA and my self as roadie..it gets to be a LOT of work. You are seriously conscientious man AND OCD as you said..and they are lucky dude! YOU SURE earn your money man. GREAT work AND editing! BEAUTIFUL DW kit too…
Wow man! Incredible! Huge thanks to you and your co workers, you guys make it possible tbh
As a drummer, this is one of the most interesting and awesome videos I've seen in a while! Just so much to take in, so much that goes on and the amount of teamwork to make these festivals happen is on another level. Amazing video man, thanks! 🍻
Festivals were always super fun to get prepared for, many years ago the band I played with did 3 shows with the Vans Warped tour. It was amazing seeing all the behind the scenes that went into ensuring every band was ready at their proper time slot.
Love watching you Matt and Mr. Nester's videos! Great content!
amazing video man! really informative and really inspiring for younger drummers who may want to become a drum tech and/or performer, I don't understand how you don't have way more attention on here, keep it up!
This is the first video of yours (and of this type) i've watched and it's unreal the job you guys do. Credit where credit is due! subbed and look forward to going through the rest of your past stuff and whats to come. Respect!
Big show days are the best days, and I just relived it in all its glory. Thanks for the video!
Thanks for another awesome video! I really love this content and looking forward to seeing more ✌️🤘🥁
The best drum tech videos out there! Enjoying these sooo much! Thanks!

Dude, I didn't know I needed this type of content until I watched this type of content, good job, keeping show us thinks like this
Absolutely love these videos, keep it up!
Man, i jus't can't get enough of these videos, please keep posting them!
Matt thanks for posting this, so interesting to see all your hard work that goes into the setup, and inter show diligence (crash cymbal & rack tom gate)
Thank you so much for documenting this. Really appreciate how clean you kept the video, everything is easy to understand. Makes me look forward to next summer, as I work as ad hoc crew at a jazz festival. Best two weeks of the year! One thing I really love, is learning from the different techs I get to work with. And your video made me see small details from the setup I’ll take with me as experience. Wish I was in a position to volountair for gigs/festival/bands more often.
Gracias Matt siempre disfruto estos videos de principio a fin 🙏
Been looking for this type of content for a long time. Thank you so much!
Man, these videos are absolutely textbook! Have been keeping me entertained ever since your first upload from the arena show. Bravo!
love watching your content and thank you for showing us what its like behind the scenes!
Awesome , cant get enough of these vids! keep it up
Awesome. Thanks for making these videos.
This was really interesting. Thank you for documenting your hard work!
How you did the CC on this is amazing! Didn't know all this went on behind the scenes of massive festivals. That drum kit is sick! The copper legs and the paint job is amazing. I'm guessing with a drum tech like yourself, the drums also sound amazing!
LOVE watching these videos of yours, man. Lifelong drum nerd that loves gear, assembling, all of the great stuff. Thanks for doing these!
Love these videos mate. Keep them coming! x
