The worst thing about man bat’s first appearance is that no matter how many times you restart the game, you never know when it’ll happen cause it’s random. So it ends up scaring the shit out of you every time
The bugs in Scarecrow’s boat are the same bugs that can be seen in similar containers throughout Stagg’s Airships in Arkham Knight. The bugs likely contain a base for the fear toxin.
unlikely. cockroaches are a common fear, and in Stagg’s hallucination, it shows he’s scared of them. he probably just keeps them around for fear factor
The fear toxin is actually the same as the breath of the demon you drink in the ras al gul boss fight. Notice how the atmosphere is the same. Scarecrow makes his toxin from the same flower used by the league of assasins to Conquer fear, much like in batman begins. Scarecrow has just figured out how way to weaponize the drug.
Croc has an Easter egg in each game of the Arkham trilogy. He's behind a door in asylum before the boss , city in the sewer and in the blimp with detective vision in knight .
Believe me or not, when I was younger during Batman Arkham Asylum like when I was nine years old. I tried blowing up that wall in the wardens office with all three explosive gel because I was stuck for hours looking where to go next. It just looked so spacey and seemed like something would be there, after trying the first time with all three explosive gel I was like “nah, I guess not” then proceeded to walk away
“Jingle bells, Batman smells” isn’t originally from BTAS. I don’t know what it’s from originally, but I remember knowing that song as a kid before BTAS even existed. Bart actually sings it in the very first episode of The Simpsons, which originally aired in 1989, but the song existed even before that.
My favorite from Arkham Knight is in the batgirl DLC where Starro the Conqueror is just behind thin glass. My favorite in Arkham City is that in the beginning of the game in divinity church, you can see Hush on a gurney with his face completely wrapped. And in Asylum, I just love how Arkham City was already teased in that secret room. Like they knew how well they would do and that they’d get a sequel
@@snitch9ine967 when you first enter the church go to the middle of the room, on either one of the sides there is a doctor standing beside a man on a operation table (use detective mode to spot them). You can talk to the guy and he’ll say that the patient was a doctor, but went crazy and cut of his own face. He will also say that he wrapped his face in bandages, and tried to take the box of his hand (probably equipment to make his face look like Bruce’s), but that he wouldn’t let it go. Later in the game if you have discovered hush’s side mission, you can revisit the church and the patient is now gone
Not only that, but on the radio after you speak to the doctor you hear them speak about Bruce getting sent to arkham city and that makes hush go from unconscious to agitated and you hear him mumble "wayne" in anger. Little detail I missed for the longest time.
I was thinking the same. Plus the opening scene implies that Batman was the one to catch him, which, if we assume that it took quite some time to get him sentenced to death, and my understanding of the legal system is spotty but I'm fairly sure it does, may suggest he was Bruce's first case as Batman.
Another Easter egg that almost no one seems to talk about is Starro in the A Matter of Family DLC. There's a duct toward the bottom of the oil rig that you can grapple up to and if you enter it and go through the duct, you'll find Starro in a tank of water. There are also some things involving Red Hood that I think were cut from Arkham Knight because if you go back to Panessa Studios after beating the main story, there's a Red Hood emblem on the floor where Batman has the last Jason Todd flashback. Also in the movie studio, if you enter Detective Mode, it will show one armed hostile in the area but you won't be able to find them. There's also a Red Hood emblem painted outside the door of the loading dock Scarecrow tells Batman to enter at the end of the story.
I remember the first time i saw the bat, I was like 10 and he jumpscared me I got so scared that I started screaming lmao then i got paranoid that he would do it again
fyi that jingle bells batman smells song was sung waaaaaaaaaaay before the animated series as kids in the early 80's we grew up with that joke version.
Well done Mojo Plays, you avoided a mistake many people did with Bruce's answering machine. To whit, along with Joker, Lex, Kate and Vkki, you have a voicemail from a girl called Cassie, clearly just some twentysomthing who flirted with Bruce at some party some people take it as a reference to Cassandra Cain the Batgirl of the early 00s and later Black Bat. The nature of the voicemail (and indeed the fact that it *is* a voicemail, given that Cass is defined by not speaking much if at all) mean that it almost certainly isn't meant to be Cass, and if it is then well done Rocksteady, you've managed to make a version of Cass that's even less accurate than Birds of Prey. Also you missed a small detail with the scarecrow boat. You mentioned the creepy containers, what's easy to miss is that those containers are the 'Break 15 to complete a Riddler challenge' object for the Airships in Arkham Knight. They look a little different because they added a batclaw hook but otherwise they appear to be the same.
The calendar man easter egg of Arkham City wasn't avaliable on Xbox 360 since you couldn't set the clock back before 2005, so it's a Playstation exclusive then 🤔 I like Arkham Knight, but I was a bit disappointed Mass Effect's Kimberly Brooks didn't return as Oracle, never heard the reason why she didn't return That song existed longer than that. It appeared on The Simpsons before Batman the Animated Series, and even Simpsons admitted they were copying actual kids from the playground
Yes it was I remember doing this shot on 360, only reason why this memory is so defined in my head is because at the time I had no internet on my 360 and I remember being at my friend‘s house on his mother‘s computer watching the gameplay and seeing the person set the time back to Halloween and going back to calendar man showing that it worked
The reason I learned about the man bat is because I heard some thugs saying stuff like “I think I saw a giant bat” and someone else said “there’s no chance there’s batman and a giant bat in Gotham” so I looked around and when I grappled….
I literally had no idea that the Killer croc in City was an Easter egg, I thought backtracking after the Ras Al Goul fight was the only way out. So the whole game I was excited for croc to come later in the game, but he never did.
Some of these Easter eggs just amazes me how they find them especially scarecrows room who tf just goes oh let me see if this boat has a hidden room or something to hack 🤣🤣
One thing that freaked me out was when playing the 1st game while collecting all the riddle trophies I spent about an hour trying to find the dot for one of the riddles in one of sewer sections at 2 am while high as a kite. I was trying to find the solution without using the internet. After said hour I gave up and looked online for the solution and as soon as I got the solution I hear the Riddler say something like " impossible unless you are using the internet to find the solution". Which freaked me out because I did use the internet and it was the first time he said that.
10:18 one day when I was playing Batman Arkham city I decided to do a new game I played on December 13th and when Calendar man said that it freaked me out cause I thought I heard all the lines he said.
That for sure only happens on Halloween. Rocksteady was putting out tweets to remind people because the game was originally supposed to come out Halloween the previous year but was delayed until the next summer.
Also, has anyone noticed that the comics totally ripped off elements of this game for the "The Batman Who Laughs" and most recently "Batman: Fear State"?
I saw a poster featuring Booster Gold in a window in Knight. I was a little disappointed that Calendar Man did not have a special message for Leap Day. I played on April 29 just to check.
Can some one helpe here? after Jokers died, outside the theater or maybe ramdomly, you may hear a thug saying something like "there were 2 Jokers? why not maybe 3" something funny since "3 Jokers" story line came up almost 10 years later from AC, so that its a reference from some early comic? or just a coincidence?..
Yeah, the only Easter eggs I think about Man-Bat are Origins at the beginning when Alred says "there are rumors of a Man-like bat creature terrorizing Gotham, I will keep you posted." The other easter egg is when 2 enemies are talking to each other in Origins "have you heard of the Batman? The 2nd guy "Yeah fights crime beats people up and dresses like a bat?"
