Well done Dave. It would be great if this could be done by all aftermarket fitters of 4wd suspension kits. Would take the guess work out of it. Love a good spreadsheet too!
Great tool, makes making decisions easier but bloody hell, was going into a trance watching this video with that TV screen flickering hahaha. Good work 👍
Great work Dave. The first example you used is us currently. I need to stop procrastinating and bit the bullet and just do it. I’ll have to flick though an email and get the ball rolling. When would I be able to get my hands on the dash standard height Springs? This system will be a very handy tool.
What happens if you have no permanent load in the back of your car? I have a TIL on order and we tow a camper the would have a 160kg max tow ball but no permant setup in the back of the car. We will just be loading an esky and all our camping stuff for a trip then removing it when not travelling. What do you recommend in this situation?
I have a stock TIL that has no weight it. It only gets loaded when we go away with an esky, camping gear, 2 little kids and a camper trailer with ATM 1.6t what type of springs and airbags do I need ?
Thanks for the videos David. You've mentioned before that lifting a y62 tucks the wheels in a bit due to the design. How much on each side should i expect my wheels to come in if i get a 2 inch lift? Since mine is probably a bit too wide as it stands I wouldn't complain about a slightly narrower stance..Cheers!
Now that the bellow airbags are ADR approved. Does that mean they can be installed on the factory lower arms and use the ARB Lynx system to set height without any further engineering issues?

I’d be guessing, maybe 10mm each side 🤷♂️

I can’t comment on the Lynx system sorry. I’m probably going to go a different way
Nice sheet up. But how hard do u reckon it would be to do it for other vehicles. E.g Ute's
We only really have experience with Y62’s so I wouldn’t have that knowledge sorry
Where do we find this magical calculator?!
We keep changing it so it has not been finished yet
🤣
any further forward with the coil delete?
We have decided to go another direction now
Dave, I have the 4.2 ton ontrack lift and gvm upgrade, can I go to airbag coil delete, and does it need to be re engineered ?
Yes, and yes 👍
Hi Dave, How far away is the stand alone system?
Weeks. Not months
Have you got fitters at brisbane?
Yes mate, check out our website
I've seen some people's photo's of their patrol on the Y62 FB page doing this 🤣 How much of a 🤡 do you have to be?
