KLIM Portable CD Player | Dax79 Reviews

Conflictions, conflictions! It's almost it but not quite. Unfortunately, this item fails at the final hurdle.
It is a great device but I couldn't remove the interference (Buzz) in the background of the music.
I tested with the items in the box, and then with my top-end Sony Headphones via the 3.5mm cable that came in the box and the one for my Sonys. The "Buzz" would not go away. This triggered this audiophile.
After filming I continue to test the unit. I was coming to the conclusion that the buzz was the CD player's Radio function, using the earphones as an aerial but this was ruled out when using the Bluetooth function, removing the cable.
I may just be picking at something most people won't notice, but I tested 2x CDs of the same OST. One Digitally Remastered and the other a standard copy from 1996. Buzz...
Everything else is a 5*****! The design, and the feel. But one thing I found the most amazing thing about these was stability.
You can through this around and it never skips! I was WOWED!
So then this is the issue... Everything but the sound is a 5***** and the sound is a 3*** so I will meet it in the middle at 4**** (It would be a 3 and a half if it was possible on ‪@amazon‬

Actually you can have NO BUZZ!! The buzz is only there because he left Bluetooth on while listening through headphones. I have bought the device and the buzz is indeed clearly there when you leave Bluetooth on. But if you stop BT or if you listen through a Bluetooth connected speaker the buzz is not there.
I really recommend this player as it works perfectly and client support is next level amazing.
Only downpoints are:
• lowest sound setting with earbuds is still quite high (I mainly listen through speaker so it's not such a big deal for me)
• connecting through Bluetooth usually takes 2 to 3 tries before it works. I don't know why that is, but again no big deal, you just need a little patience.
So I'd give it 4,9 stars out of 5

Great feedback. I tried and I still have the buzz. Maybe my product had a knock in the post? Its great to hear you are a happy customer. It is a great little device. I don't think I'll ever use the SD slot, but I'm sure someone will.
Ive been using this CD alto this bast 6 weeks and just cannot get rid of the buzz! I will test through my Sono Move and maybe I can continue my troubleshooting knowing if its heard through a blutooth speaker, as you have found.

Yeah, I missed that completly! Not good. There is a buzz. When I plugged the cable in (headphones) the buzz continued. Then, when I turned the Bluetooth off the buzz stopped. So I found that wired with Bluetooth off is great. But that little buzz drives me crazy.

You did a long review of a CD player which can connect to Bluetooth headphones but you did not test the player's Bluetooth capability. I was looking forward to you doing so because I also have the Sony XM5s and I am interested mostly in buying a CD player which works with Bluetooth (particularly convenient for listening when walking or travelling). I would have preferred a review in which you tested the many features of the device.

Sorry for the late reply. Yeah, i totally missed the fact it has Bluetooth. I did a test and I get the same interference. Its not really loud, but it could bug you if your into a perfect soundscape!!!

I think so, but they will cost you a penny!
But the format is almost perfect. Great sound and durable.
Just don't get sand in a minidisk!

I guess I should have said demonstrate the Klim with speaker guess who I have with mine I put a 57 minute CD in it and it always seems to stop before it plays the entire CD sometimes it plays 15 minutes 20 minutes 30 minutes but never the entire CD and I charged it I pulled it out after a month and played it and well I'm going to see if it plays the whole damn CD plays great sounds good just doesn't play the whole damn CD

I had an issue somewhat similar where the player sometimes stopped a few seconds before the CD was truly done. I asked their support team about it and they instantly helped me and now I have a fully functioning player. They are very kind people at Klim

​@@noe6673 Same issue here. Player fully charged but it suddenly stops some 30 seconds before it is supposed to do so, when the album comes to an end. What did KLIM advise you on this?

One thing you guys never show if the fast forward or skip feature to the next song work on these KLIM CD players cuz mine sure as hell doesn't work The only button that works is play where I bought cheaper Walkman CD player models we're all the buttons work What the f*** is up with that!?
