To keep the heat in from the cabin on a night and block anyone looking In from the front of the vehicle one of those thermal foil reflective screens would be great to reflect the heat to the rear. Just roll It up during the day..

I almost died when I saw you holding that grey tank hose! Never do that without gloves even though it's not a Black Tank you just don't know what you're dumping, otherwise you did pretty great! Now the real fun and adventure can begin!
Yep. I saw raw meat being cooked. That means that you had to clean up and wash some of those germs into the gray tank.

Congrats! There is a fitting you can add to the end of your sewer hose that will fit hands free in the sewer hookup. It's a short little elbow and clear so you can check water flow.
Love that you're on your way to RV life - so exciting after all the work you put into Clementine! One note for the dumping - always wear gloves! Assume there is other people's waste on and around the dumping tube! Also lots of accessories you can get to keep the tube angled down and having nice attachments. Good luck with the tweaks and additional packing! You'll always find something you forgot!
Great work on the RV conversion! I bet you get a lot of shocked reactions from people entering the van for the first time! You just don't expect to see a modern chic studio apartment tucked inside of of '70's camper van! The large screen home projector theater is a brilliant idea! I just think the screen needs a little work to remove the ripples in it (perhaps add weights to the bottom). Fix the screen and projector problems and you will have an unparalleled camping experience.
I think that this is the first time that I have seen Eric behind the wheel. I've only seen Allison driving.
Loving Clementine!!! When you are done, Please please please show a comparison of before and after. Would love to revisit just how far the build-journey has gone!

Grab a windshield cover from Camping World to cover your cab so people can’t see you through the front at night. If you can get a CO monitor that is mounted low between your bathroom and closet-CO sinks, not rises so your combo won’t likely alert you when you need it to. Have fun!!
From experience can I give you my best tip. Buy super-cheap paper plates and paper bowls, then use then on top of normal plates and inside normal bowls as a liner, then you get the sturdiness of your normal plates but the throw away/burnable insides with no need to wash dishes!!! It works!! And greasy pizza plates make great fire starters.

This is so exciting! You worked so hard on the build, I’m so glad it was a successful test trip. I love the “oh, I didn’t see you there” moments to us/the camera as it makes me think of Mister Rogers. 😉 Regarding the mattress, if you tried it on a box spring or slat frame, it may seem more firm because it’s on a platform. Bummer. Mattresses are SO difficult to choose.

Looks awesome! And yeah, the waste dump wasn't done optimally. Looks like you have an extension hose there, the "sewer" end should have an elbow and a fitting that either screws in or friction fits (like a big cork). Oh, and memory foam mattress topper!
I am sure it is a moment both of you have been waiting to finally arrive. I can't wait to watch the whole thing but I do have to say I kind of miss the Beginning Full House kind of introduction Eric and Allison always make the best videos for the past 5 + years

Congrats. She really looks nice. If you haven't already, you may want to consider those leveling blocks you drive onto to level the RV when the campsite is not level.
We actually have those, we just haven't gotten the level yet. 🤣 We'll be grabbing one before our next trip, though!

I solved the projector problem with a chromecast and the Mobile Homespot... I created a "Van Home" based on the homespot and everything works like a charm... Van Home Cinema is a must!!

You need an L shaped connector to keep your grey tank hooked into on-site sewer and it’s helpful to have some risers for your hose to keep it above the level of the sewer hook up. Also we keep a box of rubber gloves to do that. Non hookup sites are a lot cheaper if you are ok with just dumping at a dump station. Favorite apps are Campendium and I-exit for our rv. Good luck! It looks great!
Do you keep thinking “is this real?!” Congratulations on being the proud parents of a bouncing baby/old gal RV! We’re so excited for you and can’t wait for all the new adventures in Clementine. She looks so beautiful and we love all the design choices inside. We had faith it would all work great! Where to next? If you’re out west, we’ll treat you to a celebratory beer!
We definitely don't believe it's real! 😅 We'll for sure be heading south (and likely eventually west) since we conveniently finished her right in time for winter. 🥶 Hopefully we can take you up on that beer sooner rather than later!

@@Theendlessadventure Checkout Harvest Host, Boondockers Welcome for overnight stays. Many Walmarts don't allow overnight stays any longer. Also Cracker Barrels let RVs stay overnight.

@@Theendlessadventure Hope you try some wild camping places as well, don't forget the load spreading/levelling plates so the wheels don't sink in soft surfaces, can be home made from timber.
Just a tip... When you empty the grey tank, take a small bucket with bleach so bad smells don't appears meanwhile you're driving to another place. Greetings from Spain.
This brings back many memories of the first trip we made when we bought our first RV. BOY WAS THAT A LEARNING LESSON. You will probably discover things you will eventually need. Have fun with your baby. Oh, empty your black tank before you do the gray. The gray cleans up after the black. 💕💕💕💕💕

Just guessing, but you might want a 12v fan or two. I can imagine you might want a small fan up in the loft to keep air moving. Also can use them to mix the warm air up top by blowig down into the living area. Just a comfort thing. Great job, you guys!

Good tip for you, get some gloves and put them by your waste tube. You don't want to be touching all that nastiness! Also, don't worry about not having supplies. You will accumulate a bunch over time. Have fun. I have an '87 class C, and would like to renovate with some of your techniques!

Minor suggestion, likely said from someone else.... buy an electric plug in heater. When you are in a campsite that has shore power, use it for your heat. The power is included in your spot, and you don't use propane.

You should check the inside door jamb or under the hood to determine the tire size for that vehicle. If it was originally outfitted with 8.00 x 16.5 tires, you will need to stay with that size for those rims. If you swapped to 8.75R 16.5 Firestone Transforce tires, you will likely have a problem with the rear tandem tires touching while driving and ending in potential tire failure. PowerKing makes the correct 8.00-16.5 tire.

You guys have been a huge huge huge inspiration to me in my renovation project, and I'm not doing near as much of the work that you guys have done. We have a 98 24' Coachman, very similar to yours. Yours came out so nice that I am convinced that I should keep it and just fix it up as needed.

Hey! Congrats!! You’ll definitely want gloves for any sanitation/tank dumping situation. You only have a grey tank but most have black tanks to dump there 😷. There is also a product that holds the hose in a slight ramp style if you do want to hookup the hose for longer.
