This tutorial is SO WELL DONE! I've got a 1982 CM450C that I bought from the original owner in 2019 after it had been in storage since 1997. I did a bunch of maintenance but haven't touched the carbs because it always ran fine. I was terrified of tearing into them. Thanks to this video, I'm gonna clean my first set of carbs!
My only suggestion for everyone is that it's very Easy to separate the carbs so you can easily access everything you just have to take pictures of your connector rod and tubes
Holy smokes this looks so easy. The hardest part would be to keep everything organised and just keeping tabs on the specs of the screws and stuff. Just need to get a few O rings and a coupler for the air compressor then I'm ready to start. Thanks this video helped to boost my confidence.
Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I did one carb at a time and taped all the parts to a piece of cardboard where I could make some notes and draw a few diagrams.
Hey man, I just wanted to say that I purchased my first bike a 1986 cb450sc , and this video helped me out a ton. Can't thank you enough for this. I haven't seen a video this detailed regarding 450carbs anywhere. I'm still working on the carb and will be replacing the screws with Allen heads since I stripped the ones on it since I didn't have a JIS. Either way pls keep making these videos. Maybe a carb sync tutorial vid? 😬😬They'll help people like me haha. Thanks Again!
WOW...Best educational video I've seen yet. Well presented, educational, great photography n talk over, in clear instructional English lol.. I so appreciate this video. I'm alot more confident in my future carb cleans and simple part names now lol Even my jnrs understood the video lol Too easy, well done ✅
Hi trip, do you have an 86 cmx450? I bought one but the hoses for the carb were all removed and would appreciate if you could show how yours are routed
I am missing the small o ring on the accelartor pump on mine. What is the measurement of it? I dont want to spend alot of money on a kit when i only need a single o ring.
Do you do carb rebuilds for others? I attempted to do a rebuild on a carb set on a 1983 CM450A and I do not think I re-assembled it properly because I cannot get it to run correctly. I have since gotten a used carb from another bike to use on my bike but I want to re-install the original carb to keep the bike original. Thanks. Tony.
Hands down best video on this carburetor

Tony.
why are the steps when utilizing the silicone spray not recommended?
Are the Rebel 450 carbs that same?
Is it the same carburerator you find in the cb450n pc14?
Does this motorcycle have a discharge nozzle?
Great tutorial! At 7:21, was that the inlet needle valve that blew out onto the driveway? LOL
Is the bike running good?
Is this from a cm450 A ?
If you do this watch out for the needle jet falling out.
Damn dude... Slow down. Can't keep up
