Tip Tuesday idea - depotting eyeshadows! I have a few palates that I also don't use because they are just huge and I didn't even think about depotting the eyeshadows before - but I don't know how.

For the Urban Decay 15th Anniversary palette, you can actually take the tray of eyeshadows out. I second another commenter that you can depot them, perhaps into one of the large Z-palettes. The 15th Anniversary was designed with the removable tray, so that the box can be used to store keepsakes/misc.

I'm a palette addict but my 2 favorites are both by Tarte. Their shadows are gorgeous and just wear like silk. The pigment is good, it doesn't flake or bother my eyes.

I clicked on this as I was writing a post for my blog. I'm going to put myself on a Project ? Pan and was writing up the rules I set for myself. Hopefully I will rediscover some favorites, but the real goal is to get through things that I don't like as much, and hopefully I find similar products I like more in my stash. Many of my products don't see my love.

If you don't really care for the Urban Decay anniversary pallete because the packaging is a pain, why don't you depot the eyeshadows and just use the packaging as decoration or something?
I have the same issue with my 15th anniversary Urban Decay palette. I was so excited to get it but the packaging is not user friendly and the golden shades all look the same and some of them are too glittery in a chunky kind of way, so you get lots of fallout and there isn't any matte transition shade. I love the bright shades though but I don't use them that often. They should have done better. My favourite UD palette is the smoked one but I don't own the vice 2 or any of the naked so I can't compare. Anyway UD shadows are my favourite, maybe until I can get my hands on the Lorac Pro but I've been unsuccessful until now... big ramble end ;)
