I'm so glad you're posting more videos now! I've been in an art rut for months and stumbled upon your videos over 2 weeks ago and had gotten so inspired that I started drawing again. 💖
oooh commission videos would be cool! I never mind seeing more OC content though 🥰 Also the casually yapping about stuff with no script is a vibe lol sometimes i feel like worrying about a script is another thing that can cause video burnout 🤧 when you're just chatting informally it feels a bit more personable and chill? It's very fun to draw along to as well 💖lastly omg i love how bright and fun this drawing turned out!! 🌟
Glad you reviewed this! Will you ever be reviewing the Huion Kamvas Pro 19? :0 I held off purchasing the Huion Kamvas 22 Plus because the 4K display, touchscreen, size and included shortcut keys sound very appealing to my ears!
I dont have immediate plans to in the future since i'll be using this, but i'd say weigh your options based on the things you value the most with your drawing experience! if the resolution matters a lot for you then definitely get one that has 4k at least. i'm sure there's plenty of existing reviews on yt from other artists 🙏
I can point you in the right direction if you’re trying to compare specifically the Huion Kamvas pro 19 specifically to the xp pen one. Tech on tech does one directly comparing the two and if you’re looking for more tablet reviews Brad Colbow is an amazing person to check out. I’ve actually got a kamvas pro 19 of my own at home and I’d say the only main issues I’ve had with it are ocasional finickeyness with the drivers needing to be re-confirmed each time you shutdown your computer when I used my Mac laptop. I recently switched over to a windows computer and that issue doesn’t happen anymore. The touch feature on it only works with windows because of an issue with how Mac computers are made (not the tablet’s fault, Wacom’s touch screen doesn’t work on Mac either). Touch screen rn is a little janky, they’re not Apple but there was a lot more palm rejection than I would have expected as long as you put both your pen and hand down in the correct order. Most of the time I use the keydial 20 and it’s worked pretty nicely either plugged in or wired. I’m also glad that they have reduced the number of cords it needs compared to some of their older tablet models that were swimming in cords. The pressure levels and tilt on it work wonderfully and and the choice between a felt tipped and standard plastic nib are nice. (Keep in mind the felt tipped ones need to be switched more often). While it’s by no means perfect, I think it’s a pretty decent price for the features you’re getting especially compared to Wacom’s crazy prices. I also prefer the etched glass vs a laminated screen because I’ve heard that on tablets with laminated screens that the lamination can start to peel eventually when the tablet gets older. I also haven’t felt any big hotspots on the tablet which is a big plus. Regardless make sure to do thorough research before you commit to a specific tablet or brand. From what I’ve heard though both XP pen and Huion are both pretty credible runners up to Wacom now so I don’t think you can really go wrong. It would probably be about personal preference at the end of the day (also wanted to note that with the xp pen tablet in this video Aparently you have the choice between a higher refresh rate or the 4k screen, not both in one tablet. Also keep in mind that 4k can make program buttons in your drawing program look really tiny and that 4k can look worse if the size of your tablet is 13 inches or below. It looks much better on the 19 incher and anything above that so you’re good) Hope your tablet hunting goes well and that no matter what you choose you’re happy with it.
as someone who has the huion kamvas 22 plus, i would say dont get it, ive had many xp pen products before huion and xp pen is just so much better, also huion has a tendency to have cords that get faulty about 6 months after use. I experienced that with my 22 and when trying to buy the replacement cables, i was not able to, in my opinion xp pen is much more reliable and so so much better
let’s start off with this price looks awesome and i’m literally getting up to draw rn, but i am considering getting a drawing tablet, and im looking at this in the 16, but is the 19 for 300$ worth it, i have the space and a monitor, but should i send it? i am worried abt size without ever even using a drawing tablet???? idk if confused is the 16 good enough 😢
the benefit of a larger screen is that it forces you to have good drawing posture, so if you're willing to spend that money i'd say go for it! but if you're on a budget, there's nothing wrong with going down a size. a 16 is still much better than 10-13

will add that upu can fix the tiny buttons by adjusting windows interface size! idk if you can do this on mac tho
