  • After a rough 2024 season Corey LaJoie has been moved out of Spire Motorsports and their 7 team. This was rumored for a few days but now with their former franchise driver moving on the next order of business is finding the next guy. Whether that be a Kyle Busch or an Erik Jones this may be one of the most sought after rides for the rest of the 2024 silly season. Corey LaJoie OUT! Who Takes the 7?

    Suarez would be an interesting move bc even though he’s nowhere near Ross in points, he’s still in the playoffs, and Ross might not make it in sadly. And I’m a Ross fan. That’s hard to watch.
    Lajoie needs a career reset back to trucks, imo. Not saying he isn’t good, just doesn’t look like he has much to show for his time in Cup.
    It also sucks that other than Hendrick, Chevy teams haven’t shown up for wins except Suarez and that was a super speedway.

    Who cares who they add..spire will fail. You don't do that too a guy because internet trolls have a good time dragging a guy down. kyle busch gets wrecked, (which he spends every week doing) without lajoies help..hocevar will leave them in a few years..mcdowell will be gone in a couple years and whoever they put in the 7 won't be any better because they probably will jump someone up too fast. Hard too root for a team that reacts like that hope busch does get the ride because it won't be sunshine and rainbows. Good luck corey

    • @coreymoore01
      @coreymoore01 2 месяца назад

      You’re right, you don’t fire someone bc of trolls.
      You only fire them for something like having no wins, only 5 top 5s, and 10ish top 10s, and an average finish of ~30th in the points all over an 11 year career.. across all three series. That’s actually Corey LaJoie.

      @coreymoore01 yepp your right or close too it I'm sure but thats not my point..according too you then you just don't resign the guy if your spire or you just don't hire him if those races mattered..that's alot of races with low tier equipment and it's still not good so that's why it's not cool too fire someone with less than half a season left with mid tier equipment at best and make it hard in finding another ride..that's all I'm saying..I did overdo it in the comments though at first

    They’re spending on all the wrong things haha! I agree they need a better driver, but the best driver won’t help when you have crap on the track. Spend that money on RND and stop worrying about an alliance to get you there because it never will. Other teams are not going to give them championship level equipment/data and that’s just the realistic truth. They need to poach RND guys from Gibbs, HMS and Penske and get to work. You won’t see much improvement until they do so.
