Nice I was working for Circuit City in 97 in the video department I worked for them for 10 years I loved that job, so much fun selling Big Screen Tv's and DVD players and surround sound Awesome Theater I am in the process of building one now
Around 2000 I bought a Sony 51” rear projection , dvd player and surround sound system from Circuit City, thought I died and went to heaven. Now with a 100” screen , 4K projector and Panasonic player…it’s unbelievable.
Radio shack speakers, I remember back in 95 my neighbor across the street was playing the mortal Kombat song really loud so I thought I'd go over there and say what's going on and he was playing the mortal Kombat movie and he invited me in and I was looking at these speakers and I couldn't believe how loud and clear they are for being RadioShack brand. who cares what people say most of them don't know what they're talking about radio shack speakers are perfectly great I would say just as good as any other high-end speakers believe it or not !

I've been building it since 2019 and it's finally done (almost!)...Basically the seats, the woofer, the speakers come from a real movie theater in Paris and they still sound great. I'll do a video as soon as everything is complete. Yours is just a great one, love it!!!
Nice job! Some of those Radio Shack tweeters were actually very good. Being hard core into DIY on my own theater, I really appreciate videos like yours.
This is beautiful, and I love the incremental updates you've made including all the wall insulation. Its easy to see your passion for building this all by yourself. The decor and colors are muted and calm. It reminded me of both a music studio, game room and a theater. Sorry to hear about your Son, but sounds like he was definitely a hero. Hope you enjoy many more memories in that awesome theater. I wish I had a setup like this. Thanks for sharing.
Good looking room it’s got a nice aura. I have the same pioneer DV-578A just for the DVD AUDIO even though my Sony 4k player will play them. Why not it still works and sounds great.
The old timer stereo probably had a capacitor explode. If it did not destroy nearby components, you should put new capacitors in or hire an old tech to do it. Also speed up refresh rate for Xbox, less headaches.
Hi, wondering if your door vibrates because it sounds like a hollow core door? Maybe upgrade your media, and A/V lights to LED strips. Otherwise very nice setup!!!😊 Thanks! Terry
Sorry for the crappy video quality, I tried my action camera hoping it would do good in the dark room but nope, I'll try another camera and re film the front of the room again so you can actually see the speakers. And my stupid editing program messed up the audio also. I'm not good at this videoing stuff as you can see.
