Drama CD Adaptation of the very first Persona game that started it all. A two-part series that features half of the Original Game's story.
After Yuuya Narumi and his friends played the Persona Game, the town of Mikage-cho suddenly transformed into a demon and monster infested city. Fortunately, Narumi and the other's received a mysterious power called "Persona" to combat this evil.

As always, Elly is one of the most charismatic characters in the story. Her voice actress did a great job.

Voice cast is fantastic. Wish they'd do an OVA or movie with the same cast. My only complaint is I wish they would have stuck to adapting the game closer. Some new stuff isn't bad, but they didn't even do any of Maki's key scenes...
honestly, at this point Atlus should consider adapting the first Persona game as an anime if they really wanted to bring it back. I know a lot of people want to see 1 and 2 get remade with the same gameplay as 5, but game development takes a long time, and I think Atlus would wanna move on to other projects. If the biggest draw for the early games were the stories and characters, an anime would definitely be a good way to showcase it imo. Have it be treated with the same care that goes into other anime that adapt and modernize older works of fiction (I don't really watch much anime but ex. JoJo, Parasyte). It'd have the potential to be just as big as the modern Persona games.
Making it an anime will only make it popular as an anime, it will not make people interested in playing the games, anime aren't games and games aren't anime, hardly Persona 3 movies make people interested in the main game, to the point lots think the movie is better despite the movie makes the mc a bit too emo and pushing the Aigis romance shit despite it being hinted of very one sided on Aigis side in the actual game
If they can take the time to remaster persona 3 and give the 3d free roaming alongside a new campaign they can fully remaster the 3 og games

It's the game from 1996, set in 1996, a lot of things changed since that time so the remake will definitely be a time machine game.

They do show the names of the characters when they first appear, but after that, you'll pretty much have to memorize their voices 😅
