- This time I did not go far and wide in search of fun. I spent a day in Guatemala City, exploring 4 Grados Norte in Zona 4, I got a haircut 😱, I made some new friends @ComoZea , I ate some good food, and drank an amazing Guatemalteco drink. This was a day in my life, in a different place, Zona 4 of Guatemala City!

What an awesome vlog! Guatemala sure does look awesome! A few RUclipsrs I follow have been there and it just looks like paradise. Love that you took a street view of the country and a beautiful day, it looks amazing! A couple of the places you went to throughout the vlog had like modern and fancy design! It comes to show that Guatemala has become modernized in some places. When I thought of Guatemala, I thought of the luscious forests and trees and nature just like Costa Rica. After watching the vlog, it gave me another side of Guatemala that I have not seen before. This is awesome stuff!

2:20 - 2:29 LOL, no wonder why it looks so fancy; they provide lots of services aside from the haircut service (lol they even did your toenails; they going the extra mile!)
2:40 - 2:42 LOL oh my speak of the devil! $100 for all of the services like haircut, hair treatment, nail work, and massage! I guess if you divide each service, it comes to about $20 each. Expensive sure but hey it's all about making you happy eh? :)
5:15 - 5:24 Haha, yeah I hear that clown horn sounding off... I don't know why but when I heard that sound through that video, I had an image of Krusty the Clown and him laughing LOL (ayyy, Dios mío jaja)

10:44 - 10:46 Ah, que lindo! It's been ages since I've seen a wiener dog LOL :) But it's also cool to see random dogs running around. I would pet every one of them haha
11:20 - 11:32 Dang, that slide looks narrow LOL. Even sliding at the end didn't look quite smooth haha; could be a slide for little kids but hey, we all have an inner child in ourselves!
13:46 I really like downward spiral stairs; they're pleasing to look at it and climb too haha
15:30 - 15:34 No way, that's really cool! Guatemala is thinking outside the box there! Pretty sweet to have a couple of public gym equipment along the streets! :)
17:27 - 17:37 That's superb! Many times people who pressure others (especially tourists) to buy their products and it usually is not a good experience. That's why if people like the guy who sells those besitos want to make money, they should at least be approachable and not entice people to buy their products.
20:05 - 20:34 Dang, this restaurant looks so nice when you walk inside! Even adding the Christmas decorations amplifies the whole place too. Lots of color and different figurines that makes that restaurant a nice and pleasant place to eat at. Those hanging chair thingies though! Wow. You can definitely just sit and have a drink while feasting your eyes on the wonderful view outside!
22:40 - 22:50 Holy crap, that's a really nice place! It looks like a mall you can see in some parts of the US and Canada! It has like modern design which is really interesting!
23:50 - 24:00 Glad everything was smooth sailing! I love seeing your bubbly personality and your smiles and laughs throughout the vlog; you had a great time and it's awesome! Most of all, it was also good that you made it back to the AirBnb safe and sound! That's what matters.
The beauty services she got, were much more less expensive than in CR in a comparable salon/spa….!!!

I love how the Guatemala City has a modern vibe to it, it ALMOST reminds me of Toronto haha.
Raspberries are life! and yes haha! I certainly did spend $100 at the salon! But for me in all truth, it is quite cheap - in Canada to cut and style my hair I would be looking at about $150, and no extra services! It's crazy.
And yes, I was afraid to go down the slide hahaha, I spent a good minute wondering if it was going to collapse hahaha, I'm better off ziplining, I think!!!

ComoZea la acompaño solo a grabar él sus cosas, pense que iba a darle opiniones, sugerencias o servir un poco de amigo "guía" chapin. Hubiera sido bueno que ocupara su tiempo a servir de "acompañante" de ella para hacerla sentir mas ubicada en 4 grados. Welcome to Guatemala do you know that there is a monument that marks the point of the central of the American if you want yo be at the center of the American you can visit the village of CUILAPA I think is about 40 minutes driving from Guatemala city.

Do you need Covid test to enter Guatemala by land from Mexico? What about health pass? Travel December 26
To enter Guatemala you need a negative covid test, I am not aware of the rules and information on Mexico, but the entry to a country will be the same regardless of where you are coming from. I know that entering from certain countries require a quarantine! Best to check online government information, I can't personally guarantee anything!
Crossed land border from Mexico, no Covid test required if you are fully vaccinated. Speculation is government will announce change January 3, 2022. Happy New Year 🎆

Notice to tourists: what you see on this video, it’s a daytime display of attractions and entertainment venues. At night, they fold up everything and put it away…!
Then, the jungle, the animals, the wild returns to its original configuration….!! Also the rain comes and washes away the trash.
It is pretty much an illusion… Guatemala is not like that…!!

It is like that, I have been living in this area for years and never experienced any security issues. Of course some zones like zona 4, 10, 14, etc, are not equal to zone 18, 12, 6, etc. Guatemala City is very clean (at least these zones but her video is about zona 4 soooooo) compared with most cities in latin america... trust me, I have traveled a lot. So your point is it is dangerous? every single country in latin america is.... last time I was robbed was a couple of years ago in San Francisco, California. It is not an illusion... but if you only focus on the negative that is all you will see.
What a malicious and and outright brainless comment ! I have lived in The Big Apple New York , Miami and visited most USA cities and I can assure you all the big cities have beauty and all of the same and safety is global issue ! In December 2016 I traveled to Guatemala and stayed there almost 4 months visiting many places , I walked through the city day and late at night doing video and taking pictures and I found it extremily safe and clean ! I enjoyed super fresh and delicious food and baking goods , people super friendly and respectful ! Guatemala is an extremily Beautiful country and the city is WORLD CLASS !
