I ❤ this song. The melody goes really well with the story you’re telling in this beautiful video. I also love the part where he’s dreaming of Li Susu telling him those words that he’s been longing to hear. You can hear the silent words she wanted to tell him but yet didn’t at the end. 😭

Their lives are pretty straightforward. They lived 3 lives: Ming Ye and Sang Jiu (1st life ) Tantai Jin and Ye Xia Wu (2nd life) Cang Jiu Ming and Li Susu (3rd life ) Now in the start of the series.. the 3rd life was Li Susu, lady serenity and Tantai Jin, the Devil God. But because Li Susu went back in time 500 years she was able to change the future and Tantai Jin didn’t die before experiencing Love-thus becoming the Devil God. Prior to the time travel , Tantai Jin (the Devil fetus) had horrible childhood and was married to YeXia Wu a evil woman who was cruel to many, including her husband and her sister. And she encouraged others to be evil to Tantai Jin too. This life ensured that when Tantai Jin died, he would awake as the Devil God because he had not experienced love/kindness nor had any love threads. All he knew was the sin and cruelty of the world(which feeds the DG life and power). Tantai Jin is the reincarnation (physical body) of the Devil God. So when the Devil fetus dies, he becomes the Devil God. When the Devil god does he is always reborn as the Devil fetus. (A cycle as long as there is sin and hate in the world) But after Li Susu went into the past 500 years, Tantai Jin experienced love, kindness, and was able heal/get a Love thread 🪡. This kinda freed and changed him and he wanted to be good and love and therefore make his own choices and write his own fate and destiny through his choice to Not be Evil. Technically he could have been the Devil God , not so evil and lived happy -- but Dimion had started the All-in-distress and there is only one way to stop that. The big differences now is that the Devil bone is truly destroyed. The Devil bone was the consciousness and immortal souls of the original Devil God . So when the dg was awaken it was like a possession but not fully -more like a merging because Tantai Jin as as Devil God still had memories of YeXia Wu. It is why in episode 1 , he said “it is you “. The biggest issue was that the kindness and consideration she showed him and “love” as Ye Xia Wu was tainted with deception and manipulation. Her mission to kill him. So… Lol. See simple.
