I tortured myself by watching a bunch of videos about it and I got it for Xmas today. I was soooo exited when I saw the oculus logo
@@idk._sethh I dont know if i got it het because our grandparents might have covid their getting rapid tested today if they dont we’re going to their house on Monday and that usually where the expensive gifts are and on face time they have HUGE gifts and what seems to be a quest sized one.

@@evntyde Im 8 months late, but buy the quest 2 instead of the rift, the rift requires a gaming pc and from what i've heard the quest 2 its much better and you can link it to a pc anyways

AZRubs Uhm... What lmao. Obviously that would bother everyone who it happened to because they didn’t know, and ended up banned from FB with an oculus they payed for and now cannot play. I don’t think it’s possible to sue them because of many reasons, one of them being TOS of their rights to do so, even if it’s something you disagree with it’s something you signed up for. The point is to -unless you don’t mind Facebook at all- probably not get a quest two (esp if you have the resources to get a different vr). Of course not everyone can, but for many people that’s a dealbreaker and some don’t even know Oculus is Facebook.

I got one on Tuesday! It’s the best headset I’ve ever owned! (All I’ve had is a PSVR) I will play for hours, it will die, I’ll charge it, then play again. Best VR ever in my opinion!

@@householdmaintainer3072 you gonna love it. by the way, there are no native quest 2 game so don't expect ultra sharp image on current games. there are graphic enhancement games but thats just extra texture or shadows so its nothing to do with sharp image improvement. i can't wait for native xr2 chipset games so its gonna be almost 4k resolution

Thank you for your honesty about the straps. It comes down to taste rather than function. The original strap is just as good as the GO strap and i never had a problem with it. When I've been playing with my quest 2 I've hit my controllers with my headset alot but nothing has happened,the only thing is that my lenses get foggy and smudged when i play,i use a microfiber cloth but i figured i need some sort of liquid to clean it,i haven't found any products that i am able to use to clean it since i need a specific cleaner liquid so i don't damage the lenses.I hope i can find a way to clean it but that is my little review i guess.
Microfiber cloth should be enough, start wiping from the center of the lenses in a circle motion (ik I’m 10 months late but eh)
My PSVR broke so if I get a quest imma attach the head strap from the PSVR onto the quest (plz respond)
I started saving up for the 256GB on Christmas and got 225 dollars in just two days. I then took any cash that I got for babysitting my brothers to save up for the rest. On the last day of December, my parents purchased one. It was the last in stock. I was confused why they bought it, because I’m still a hundred dollars off. They figured that once I did come up with the cash, I would have to wait far longer for the, to be in stock. Mine’s supposed to be here towards the end of January, and I am hyped for it!
When opening this it took me about 20minutes to realize I could slide the one part off the box. I struggled for *N O T H I N G.*

For everyone’s thinking of getting the oculus quest to personally I wouldn’t recommend it because you have to login to Facebook and they will band your account if you if they don’t your ban your account then you’re lucky but a lot of users have been facing the problem were you login to Facebook and it’s randomly banner account and I know it sounds like I’m just making this up but it’s a very big problem look it up
