Larry Devery Yes he really was. Such a tragedy still makes me sad . This video was right near the end of his life you can tell how fucked up he was. Hard to watch☹️
Kassi Woodall He was using this entire period. He was high here This is close to when he died. He relapsed at Woodstock and never got clean again. He looks horrible in this video
@@sheripeters365 he got clean during the summer after his daughter was born. He relapsed the night before he died. Literally. He went to rehab during the summer. They told him not to go on tour because he wasn't strong enough yet. I've researched plenty.
I absolutely loved this performance when I was younger, I found the full show on a video tape and would watch it repeatedly well in to my early 20s. I would bring it to partys to play for my friends. However 20 years later it's unbelievably sad to watch. Shannon looks like he hasn't slept showered or changed his clothes in days and his vocal sounds poor compared to earlier performances. His deterioration is center stage and heartbreaking.
They don't do it quite justice, but then again, who can? Still, great band, first I am hearing of them. Great songs, thanks for the ever circulating humming of our human hive that leads us to discovery!
@@Brandon-tk2rw How’s that stupid? Have you even seen the documentary “All I Can Say”? You know the documentary filmed by Shannon himself where he literally says he wrote the whole “i’ll pull trigger make it all go away” part about Kurt right after his death. Know what your talking about before you rip on people you fucking wank stain.
Got way too heavy and complex for the mainstream to process.... For the same reasons that this song and the album w/ the same title were great, Soup failed to hit numbers that their self-titled debut did.
Shannon voice was on the top in 90'......no one can forget him
absolutely unreal, and the fact that he always KILLED it live. Incredible when he really digs down and belts lines out.
