It's the part where Craig apologized for "...giving her heart attacks..." that gets me the most😂😂. One beautiful story of Comrades and Love. I like it.
Having had 3 previous cracks at this for 3 DNFs and having missed this year battling injuries and not getting the qualifier in, watching this is making me super determined to be back for 2023. Hope you guys can make it from NZ, there's about 20 or so that go from across the ditch and usually 100+ from Australia that make the trip so you'll have company if you go for 2023.
That part where Chantz was feeling for her man and almost cried? My eyes welled up...I think I would cry the whole time if a loved one took part...from pride and empathy
Wow Craig!!! Man what a emotional Roller coaster! This was such a great video!! It actaully made me tear up watching you! I know the determination and strength it took for you to keep pushing!! Glad you caught a second wind and didn’t give up!! You should be so proud!! Well done Craig 9 mins to spare!! Legend!! :) great support crew too and love the ballon idea haha!
Wow! double marathon...Craig is the MAN. Chantelle, I agree in some ways it's tougher being a support crew, as you naturally worry about your man. what a great team!
There comes a time in the race when your legs do not belong to your body anymore. The mind just tries to think of something else except running. Gee, it takes it out of you, I know I have done it four times up and down. But the next year comes and you are back for the punishment again. What is it with us humans, we never learn, do we? DEEP HEAT rub, it helps. Yes, that does happen, you must not sit down, muscles can not cool off. Well done for your endurance, Craig. Running into the sunrise is so beautiful.
@@BeingBedingfield Hi you guys from Thailand, it is so inspiring to see hubby do what he did, it takes much courage and guts, yes those were the days for me, and like you, I enjoyed every minute of it. It only starts to punish you the next day when everything is stiff and sore. But after a week you are ready for the next one. Ran a lot on the beach which help immensely before the race. The loose sand does its thing. Anyway, love from Thailand, let the good be your light.
Well done Craig! I finished a few minutes after you. I didn't think much of it then but I see that these close finishes really stress your supporters. Great vlog. The route has been brilliantly captured by both of you!
Thanks so much! And well done for finishing in time :) I'm sure your supporters were just as worried hehe Can't believe how crazy emotional Comrades day is haha
