I am a big fan of bluey and with season 3 airing in Australia, I thought I would do a breakdown of every episode with a small review, some spoilers, and any bluey theories that might pop up. Bluey season 1 and 2 hit disney plus two months after airing in Australia so hopefully, all of season 3 will be out for everyone soon!

I liked the part where the employee walked past Bluey and Bingo while they were dancing. Then they smiled like the kids just made their day. 5 out of 5 long dogs.
Same, such a small detail but a great one that made me physically smile too

When Bluey was so desperate to find Coco to cheer her up, I was torn between feeling happy and cringing that she and Bingo were probably going to get bum worms. XD I think if Bandit wasn't busy talking to the pharmacy employee when Bingo came up to him, he would have said no to her going near Coco. Which got me thinking about how adults are compelled to keep people at arm's length when sick but all kids usually think about is making sure their friends feel better.
Maybe Bandit had some hand sanitiser in the car and the girls used it on the way home.
Coco was at school until lunchtime that day so whatever she had, Bluey would have already been exposed to it, which of course means it would have just gone to Bingo already as well, and Bandit, and then they take it home to Chilli. Even if she had had gastro (tummy bug), it would have been a case of “well, you’ve already been exposed so why not?” Or Bandit could have thought as well that she wasn’t contagious and likely just had a bad headache or something.
I love your take about how parents get super worried about illness but kids get worried about their friends ❤️
I remember having bum worms, and im from the usa! We didnt have no bum worm choclate, just pills that didnt work. The itched like nuts. And i eventually got rid of them by ignoring the itchy. Dont itch dont complete the cycle. Also wash your hands. They take like a month to hatch too so you dont know you have them till you find them
I like that despite the signs of a messy divorce, Winton's dad isn't portrayed as a loser akin to Kirk van Houten from the Simpsons because he's shown to be trying to get back out there.
Winton's dad: I sleep in a racing car, do you?
Bandit: I sleep in a big bed with my wife.
Winton's dad:...oh yeah
Yeah I love this too, we see him with his son a lot, working at the markets and just living life (even seen a previous girlfriend too! But I’ll be going into that more in my next video)

Both because it's adorable and because it felt nostalgic, this is one of the cutest episodes to me this season. The playing with the cctv and the exploring the pharmacy, I feel that's something almost universal we all did or knew someone who did as kids.
I’ll admit that even as an adult, I sometimes would see the CCTV and give a small wave to it. A subtle one, but still a wave.

Totally agree, so many little nostalgia moments of being dragged around by mum when she wanted to look at something and I was bored, to the fun with cctvs. Absolutely loved the details in this ep

Yeah I feel like this is a great chance to show a blended family or an IVF family too. I thought we might see Wendy dating but this would be great too
at first I thought the wedding coming up in a future episode would be Rad and Frisky's, but now I'd say there's a decent chance it could be Winton's dad and the Terriers mom ! Though I guess Bluey and her family being invited makes it more likely to be Rad's wedding still. Great vid as always.
This episode really deserves 5/5 long dogs and my favorite part was how bandit started dancing in front of the CCTV. And the songs were so different but in a good way and it's so easy to vibe on them. Definitely on my top 5 list

I just really like how everyone is postive with one another here! The parents, the worker passing by smiling at bluey and bingo dancing, and the kids helping eachother! I really like that they're showing single parents being happy and getting back out there
I also appreciated how bandi is honest with his girls

The purple long dog is on the shelf with the mug and the beach book, the brown long dog is on top of the Bandit plush on the very top shelf, and Chattermax is also on the very top shelf but to the left of the Bandit plush. For me, the episode was pretty good and I liked the music as well. I will give this a 4.7 out of 5 long dogs. Can’t wait for the next episode Slide!!

My silly theory: Bluey knew that Coco had bum worms and wanted to find her so Bingo could have bum worm chocolate.

This is the video where I found out that I almost got bum worms at summer camp 30 years ago. They called them pin worms and one of my cabinmates got them so we all had to be treated. I don't think it was chocolate though.
Yeah the chocolate seems to be an Aussie branding thing, but yes pin worms is bumworms and crazy contagious!
I liked the soundtrack in this episode, and the CCTVs can really be a lot of fun!

We do say pharmacy in the US as well. A drug store is a specific type of pharmacy that also sells other non-drug things, like a Walgreens. But there are also stand-alone pharmacies.
I almost thought there was going to be another fourth wall break. Bluey and Bingo can themselves on the CCTV screens, we can see them on our TV screens in a living room, hotel room, a restaurant, etc.
😱 that would have been a great opportunity for that
I can relate that for some reason I've shed a tears, but I don't know from laugh or from happiness 😂 But this and the upcoming Lingo episode (Slides) may be the best of that batch 😁

As someone who usually goes to Chemist Warehouse to get tablets I can relate to this episode, It was nice seeing more parents of Bluey's friends.
Yeah I saw a lot of people confused as to why it seems so big, but I’ve lost a mate in chemist warehouse before 😆 loved they used it

I thought the bum worm thing was in reference to how dogs get tapeworms from fleas. I guess I learned something about Australia that I really didn't want to learn lol
It happens in America too, but it's become taboo to talk about. There's this stigma that only dirty people have it, and people will shame you for it. Making it out to be something shameful (and shameful to talk about) has the unfortunate result of people not knowing about it.
Which causes parasitic cases to rise dramatically. It's horrible, especially because it's common for people to not show symptoms.
Pinworms especially, you get infected by breathing them in. Their eggs float in the air and can survive up to 2 hours in humid air.

I think Coco wearing the butterfly headphones watching something on her tablet is a reference to Bingo wearing headphones and reading a book, keeping them in a neat pile after reading them in “Mini Bluey”

The mention of the drugstore/pharmacy/chemist thing is fascinating to me. You mention the in the U.S. it’s usually called a drugstore. In my experience in my region of the U.S. I’ve only ever heard pharmacy (except for some older folks). Fascinating how English works!

Which is interesting because the voice actor of it is Australian but I guess he was having fun putting on an accent
@@aussiegirlmargie indeed seeing as there are many Australian actors who have put on a British accent for certain roles they've played in movies just take a look at Hugh Jackman Chris Hemsworth or Hugo Weaving as Prime examples of Australian actors who have done a British accent for certain characters they played in movies

i think wintons dad is named maj because in the episode cars chilli is calkling someone called maj and i saw the profile picture and it looked like wintons dad plus i heard chilli say "She does love you maj" and i think "she" is the terriors mum

I wonder if maybe Rusty/Jack’s mom or dad did some reading on the new recommendation on height/weight ! Some pediatrician are recommending not just 5 point harness but rear facing up to 50lbs, which a smaller 6-7 year old could for sure be !
2:11 another reason could be that the terrier's mum probably got the car after she got divorced and that's why it's only the terriers and their mom
I'm not an Aussie, so bum worms weren't a big thing in my childhood. But ringworm was. I'm pretty sure my sister and I actually got it when we were little.
I know they're two different types of worms, but it's an interesting thing to think about.
Bum worm chocolate works good on them too! Haha I remember growing up we always referred to it as worming chocolate, but I feel like now this generation will call it bumworm chocolate cause of Bluey

When I saw the blue baskets the first thing I thought was Walmart. Mainly because I work there, but then again I don’t know if there is Walmart in Australia
There is another discount pharmacy chain that has those colours in Australia.
Also in the U.S. (I don’t know what part your in) I’ve only only ever heard it called the pharmacy, and I’m a military kid so I’ve moved to a few different states. Drug store is the common name and obviously I know the term, but I’ve never heard someone say it in everyday language.
Honestly, this might be my favorite episode from season 3c so far.

Yeah I agree, this and dragon I think have been the best
I feel that I give this 3 out of five long dogs. My favourite scene was when they were plotting a way to get to Coco to ask if she’s okay and Bluey was confused at first but wasn’t later on. Fun fact, I never knew winton’s dad was flirting with terriers mum the first time I watched it. I tried to find the long dog but couldn’t.
Yeah I loved the “quest” aspect of this episode too

honestly i'm loving the single parent representation, especially with winton's dad cause single male parents are usually overlooked in media. now i just hope theres rep for people/puppies being raised by grandparents
