only in the big festivals (Montreux, Jazz à Vienne, Umbria Jazz...), in most cities the jazz scene isn't that big, there aren't enough musicians to have a big community. In the US each city (even small) has at least 1 jazz club to jam at.
Strangersname oh no the music is doing great, it's still alive but not in the same scale ! it's just that the youth isn't very into it, i wish i could do something to engage my peers in it.
