I love all the subtle details put into the background of glee. Finn and Puck's chairs are turned toward each other implying that they were talking. And also letting them look at each other better during this song because this song really applies to them

I remember watching this when I was in high school, at around 16, and as a student it was already pretty poignant to listen to, and i hadn't even graduated yet cuz i had quite some teachers whom i knew were wishin for us the same as mr. shue here; but it's even more poignant so to listen to it now as a teacher, being on the other side, just licensed my first class of junior high off to high school, and this stuff was goin thro my mind the whole time as it happened, listened to their tesis, shook their hands, watched them walk out aged 13/14, kinda hit me that most of them i will never see again, they ll have an image of adult me and hopefully i will have served them well, but in my mind and heart they ll be 13/14 forever...pretty insane to think of. The road i walk with them is short but I hope its one that will teach them to do right long after I've left them.
