    Thanks for the shout out and it was my pleasure to help you! Be sure to contact me about any of your future vacations because I would love to help and my services are completely free. ;-) You pay the same with me as you would booking it yourself (online or by phone) because I book directly with Disney, but I offer all of my personal tips and customized vacation itineraries for your family. Your video is absolutely precious and I love how you captured the sweet innocence of your children at Disney even after everything that happened. Trust me, in a few years, you won't remember all of the bad things, but you will treasure the magical memories. Pure Disney magic!

    Tiffany please do not be so hard on yourself!!! Trust me your children would not remember that you bought the wrong tickets for California or there shirts were falling apart.. they are children they don’t need a lot to be happy and to have fun! I know we as parents want everything to be perfect and we notice the smallest things but at the end of the day it’s all about the kids! But I do agree on your husband about letting the kids be a little bit more older to go! Oh and another thing people especially Disney needs to stop saying it’s the almost happiest place on earth! It’s a lie!! It’s the worst lol everything is so expensive it’s a rip off there’s no many people the lines are huge you can’t really enjoy it because of the kids and the rides are meant for older people.. it’s just too much and very overwhelming!

    We are doing Mickeys Very Merry Christmas party next week. My friend was honest with me and she said they were so tired trying to do everything. If they did it all over again they would just take there time and also bring there own food in for snacks and lunch for the kids. From what I'm told for the Christmas party it's perfect because there are 2 parades and 3 firework shows. Also all the rides are walk ons or not even a 5 min wait.

    • @pillorody
      @pillorody 4 года назад

      I don't know about Disney world but for Disney Land during Christmas or even Halloween you do need multiple tickets during holidays events I'd you want to attend the event . like during Christmas it's the Mickey's very merry Christmas parade and party it's not included in your day ticket . However when u are staying multiple days you can just skip buying the regular entrance and go in at 5pm for entrance to parks/special event . But in their case I understand why they also bought regular admission because they were only staying one day. I have also done that in the past for the oogie boogie halloween bash.

    Def doesn’t look like a fail. I have three kids also : 2 boys and a girl ages 6,4,3 and we live an hour away from Disneyland and have been going since they were babies (all 3). It is a long day and a lot of walking and I think it just takes a few times to figure out what works and what doesn’t. But looks like it was fun for the most part. Next time will be better cause you will know what to expect more and can alter what you do based on that. As the kids get older too it gets easier and more fun.

    I brought my daughter and nephew when they were 8 and it was the perfect age I think. They carried they own mini backpacks with water and snacks. They understood what was going on and walk with no problems. Also we went in February and it was in the 80 no super hot just nice. Summer I am sure it is horrible.

    Don’t use circuit vinyl! It sucksss and is overpriced for the quality. Try Siser HTV or thermoflex. Buy online from vinyl retailers and not at Michaels or hobby lobby (overpriced at those big name stores). Look into getting a heat press. I have an industrial heat press which was only maybe $40 more than the circuit easy press and works a million times better. Hope that helps!

  • @StaceyySayys
    @StaceyySayys 4 года назад

    Im so sorry you guys had a rough go! And the points you made I know are valid for your experience, but I just wanted to jump in with some advice for anyone on the fence about going. I am a Disney vacation planner and a mom of 2 under 2. We just went with my autistic 2 year old and my 10 month old and we had an amazing time because we had the right mindset/expectations! 1) Disney is overwhelming 2) toddlers (usually) dont cooperate 3) you're doing your best! You definitely have to schedule lots of breaks and downtime with little ones! It's easy for the picture of Disney to look like you have to do everything, all the time, never miss anything, etc. But when you're going with kiddos so little you gotta remember it's the quality over the quantity! Your kids are going to be overwhelmed, you're gonna be overwhelmed, but you have to allow yourself grace! Also, if you can stay on property, it makes things so much easier! I hope you guys go back in a few years and give it another shot!

    I'm only halfway through the video and I mean this sincerely...Why didn't you get a ton of tips from Brianna K before you went?! The things that stuck out at me right away... You didn't need park tickets to go to Chef Mickey's. Generally, when people are going to the Christmas Party at night, they don't get park tickets for that day. Even though the event doesn't start until 7pm, they let you into the park with the event ticket at 4pm. Kids up to about 6 years old NEED strollers at Disney. Next time, rent from an off-site rental place. We love Kingdom Strollers. They'll deliver them to your resort and you can get a City Mini GT double instead of those awful ones they rent you in the park. I'm only mentioning these things so others who haven't been and might read the comments can know, too. You're right, Chris, 4 is kinda the golden age to go.

  • @AutumnWojnarek

    Disney World is definitely not meant for 1 day, especially with little kiddos. I have been to Disney with my 2 year old, 3 year old and I plan on taking my next baby there when he/she is a baby. Definitely do everything through a travel agent because they help out soooo much when you don't know what you're doing. Looks like you guys really did have a good time though. Don't sweat the small stuff! These kids will thank you for it when they are older! Also, outside stroller rentals are much better than the disney hard plastic ones! I use Kingdom strollers. highly recommend!
    Oh and Tiff, for your shirts, try the easy press. Irons just don't get hot enough and they have spotty heat. That's my tip for ya!

It was hard but how I wish I could bring those days back. We loved it!!! We have such great memories with my parents and my sisters and their husbands. Were there melt downs oh yes including some adults lol. All in all I still loved it. Funny thing too, we actually ended up moving to Florida because of my husbands job, and if you can believe this we still went there even though our kids were now in college. Now we live in Colorado but my daughter is here and expecting her first baby girl I dream of taking her and our grandson to Disney one day soon :)

    We are definitely a Disney family and my son has been many times (the 1st at 5 months old). The nice thing about taking them when they are that young is the free admission. It can be a little easier if you stay on property because then you can just use Disney transporation from your hotel. Then you can also go early (maybe even early magic hours) and go back to your hotel around lunchtime, rest for the whole afternoon, and start back up around dinner. Even if your child is out of a stroller in everyday life, they will probably still need it at Disney because that is A LOT of walking. It looks like you all had some great experiences, despite the stress, and will remember it forever!

    I agree Chris I live in Florida about 30-45 minutes from Disney we have taken our kids once for one it is completely overpriced it's so crowded it's hard to have a good time... we take our kids to Legoland it's about 10 minutes from our house the lines aren't bad and the kids seem to have a better time

    You all are amazing parents! Disney is for sure a trip that has to be planned very well in advance so you can get fast passes. Also, you need to stay more than one day so you don’t feel like you have to fit everything into one day. We go every year starting at my son being two. I was blessed with my boyfriends family going their entire childhood so they knew everything. Please try again in a couple years planned 6 months in advance with more days to stay and fast passes are seriously the key. You all are amazing and the most amazing parents but Disney is so stressful. I love you all! The things we do for our kids right ? Remember how amazing you are.

    I agree with waiting until they are a little older. I took my 3 adult kids and my granddaughter who had just turned 3 at the time to Disney World. We all had a great time, including the 3 year old. But she's 10 now and doesn't remember the trip at all. If she had been 4 or 5, I'm sure she would have remembered it.

    Our girls are 4 and 6. We started going to Disney World when they were 2 & 3. We take our own stroller and we book it a year in advance. That way we can make reservations and fast passes for everyday. We have been 3 times and love it. We stay at the parks from open to close and the girls take naps in the stroller (like over two hours). We plan the adult rides around their nap schedule so they don’t really miss anything. Keep trying, planning gets easier the more you go!!

    For planning last minute, you guys did good. Next time, make it a longer vacation and stay on site. That way you can do multiple days in the parks and go back to your resort before nap time to make sure the kids rest up. Disney has so much to do and offer, but you need that down time. Even if they don’t nap and you just go to the pool, it’s still a break from the busyness of the parks.

    Totally agree! We didnt go to Disney till our kids were 4 and 6. It was perfect! We stayed almost a week. Did all the character dining so we didnt have to wait in line for signatures. Stay at a resort and do the hopper. Its expensive but well worth it :)

    If you are going to keep using an iron you need to apply pressure! You should be able to see the shirt fibers if that makes since! You could definitely watch some youtube videos and see what I'm talking about! None the less they are your 1st shirts and you all look adorbs! Great job!

  • @katiedavis6292

    Sad the shirts didn't hold up. I have found that using a heat press is key, the temperature, time and pressure that you use to apply the vinyl needs to precise. I'm not sure what brand you were using, but I'm going to guess it was the cricut brand wich is awful. Try Siser easyweed next time.

    When we went our daughter was 3. Lets say she was miserable. She whined and just was not having it. We were ready to jump on a plane and go home. We changed things up. We stayed by the pool days and let her get a good nap. Did the parks after 3. Even chilled at the hotel outside food area one night. Disney is too much. I'd rather go to the beach and chill. Too much is expected at disney.

    Disney is such a huge place and it’s so much walking and things to do and see. My parents took our family there when I was a teen and again when my nephew was I think 8 or 9. I was in my late 30s and it was exhausting!!! But I got to meet Tigger and Belle so it was so worth it!

    I think little ones are great at the park we are Disney pro's we go every spring for the last 5 years and we have 5 kids I think all our kids where about 6 months to 1 year when they went for the first time. However planning is a MUST with Disney I almost cringed when you said you didn't get into the park till after 2pm because for us that is the time we leave the park to take a break. The park is best in the morning esp. with little kids because it's proven little kids do better in the mornings. So getting there at opening and spending the day there and then leaving around 1 or 2 and taking a break for a nap and resting and then go back for the evening activities is what we have found works best. It's def. an all day park I would even say a several day park trying to do it a few hours here and there is hard it's just too overwhelming. We also do the whole Disney thing where we stay right on Disney at the resort and use all Disney transportation so it's very easy to just go back to your room and take a nap and rest instead of making that long journey out of the park and driving back to wherever you came from. You have to have easy access to a hotel room when your at Disney with little ones so you can leave and take breaks often so being right there at Disney is best. We also do the Dining plan so when kids need snacks or are hungry we just go and use our credits and never have to worry about cost so they don't have meltdowns about being hungry and us always worrying about how much things cost. We also do Fast pass with each ticket into the park you get 3 fast passes which are like a shorter line so you can get on 3 rides with little wait which is fantastic for little kids who hate waiting. You can make your fast passes 30 days before your trip or 60 days if you stay on property. Also if you stay on property you get a magic band where your whole account is on it so your park tickets, your fast passes, your dining package so all you have to do is scan that magic band and your in no worries so when you buy a Disney package online and stay on site you'll each get a band for free. Disney takes planning we start planning ours 6 months out and we do the whole package with resort, dining, photos, and tickets and I wouldn't do it any other way with small kids. Watch some tips and trick video's on RUclips for Disney planning and if you do plan it all out and go in the morning and spend a few hours and then take a break and then spend the evening it's so much better which is why we go back every spring for a week with 5 kids because it can be done and sooo stress free and magical but it does take research and planning. Don't let this one experience ruin you our first time we stayed off property and did no planning and it was stressful and bad too we saw Disney as just a hetic crazy over our heads theme park but we knew there had to be more thats when we really started planning our next one and did it right and we've been hooked ever since. Our 2 year old just got his first haircut last spring at Disney and now that is all he talks about he won't let anyone cut his hair till we go back to Disney and when he see's the castle on tv he screams and says I go there I go there. He remembers and so I would say you miss moments like that if you wait till they are older. So don't be afraid to try again but next time make sure you plan it out and do research and I promise you it will be the most magical thing you ever do but don't let this first time make you think that is what Disney is all the time as two parents that go to Disney with 5 kids and no other adults to help I can promise you if you do it right that is not what disney is or we wouldn't be able to do it lol

    Lol I felt so bad the Second I read the title. We love close to Disney and have tried it so many times. My kids are a little older and they still hate it. We have friends that love it but it’s too much standing in line for us. My kids begged to leave the last time we were there. We still go to Orlando, but just to visit the good resorts with fun pools.

    I’m a cricut user and I think where it went wrong is the laying of the vinyl. Make sure you slice the name out of the mickey head part first so it has a cutout for you to place the other color on. One layer is key. Shirts were so cute!!
