I too felt the same ...i wasted lots of money. I bought gold coins, jewels ( 12 savaran ), Paying LiC.. 10000/5000 was savings and converted into jewels.

Today, a graduate in any stream earns between 20 and 30k per month, and still complains about low pay always. . When I worked for a reputed MNC 10 years ago, I was paid between 8k and 10k even if I worked night shifts, and it took me at least six to 7 years to reach 20k with annual hikes of 500k to 800k per year...Life has not been smooth thus far, we've been in debt even just to pay for the basic necessities and we're still struggling to get out from under it...This is a humble request to all young people to follow such videos and to avoid unnecessary expenses like buying branded clothes, costly mobile phones, partying every weekend, buying expensive cars/bikes on EMI, and staying in expensive hotels/resorts during trips, etc etc. Stress from financial worries will take a toll on your mental health over time.

SIP is just a method. You invest in a Mutual Fund using the SIP method. UTI nifty 50 and UTI next nifty 50 is a good place to start.
