Hi Terry, you amazing me how you find these things. What a brilliant find! The bonus id money going to a charity too ❤ nice harvest of Condor potatoes. I'm sure Mrs K won't mind the electric bill as she knows how you love your growing 😉 gorgeous flowers. Thanks for sharing and take care 😊

Mrs K is now having Major surgery at the end of the month as long as the small intestine isn't affected (you can't live without it) they will continue to remove all or part of her organs from the lungs down to her pelvis, they will close up if they find something that they can't remove, many thanks for your support.
Great news to get the tripods at a very nice price, well done Terry. I hope the Kondor sprout survives, nice size despite big Daddy missing. Will keep an eye open for the CCTV video
@sowgroweat6987 with the cooler weather coming I will take all my Christmas potatoes and this misshapen kondor home and put them underneath the lights.
Hi Terry. Tripods find was ace. Your tomatoes look fantastic. Mine are rubbish some due to weather and some due to my erratic watering. I’m going to have to look at some sort of watering system for next year I think. Take care. Mags
@mygardenanddinosaurs the tomatoes in the greenhouse haven't done very well and they are irrigated so it maybe just one of those seasons were something that did well last season didn't do well this time, best do several ways so you get a crop.
Your rhyme sounded like the beginning of a Dr. Seuss verse, Terry! Good sleuthing on the tripod score. I still not happy with my set up Was that an ice cream truck (ice lolly) I heard? I give a full watch on respect for my fellow RUclipsrs! ~ Sandra
@@terrykingsallotmentgardening No mate, mine are all normal sized as I was only increasing stock this year. To be honest, I'm not sure if I would enter anyway (well not if I only had one item to stage). Such a waste of fuel doing the journey 2 times there and back. Plus I am still miffed at the Giant Veg Community for the false advice given to me in (I think) 2018. I asked what should I consider a minimum weight to enter a spud. I had 4 or 5 replies all saying between 2½ and 3kg. Mine was 1.7kg so I never bothered. Turns out that if I had entered I would have got a 5th ticket and guess what - 3 of the ones above me were those who replied and they were all below the weight they suggested! I was not amused, shall we say!
@DigwellGreenfingers that would tiddle me off as well, I show what I need to show before 5he show so not giving anything away, hopefully got a good carrot or it's rotten we never know till we dig them out.

have a look on ebay for replacement camera baseplates for tripods Tel, there's a few 3D printer types that put them up there, failing that you could make one easy with a router from a cheap kitchen cutting board, if you do go for glue try plastic welding with a soldering iron it last miles londer than glue but it takes a bit of practice to get a neat job, wife came home with a broken plastic garden bench she found on the side of the road, an hour with a soldering iron had it good as new and probably stronger.

@toba1880 you will have to hide the split or it won't be counted, all vegetables should be in good condition, but it depends on who you are so enter it anyway.
