Next week I hope to start mulching the beds. Yours look great, well prepared. I have 1 year old so think I will leave it another year!! Big hugs to you and Mrs K 🤗 Hope her recovery is going well xx
Good job Terry. Good to see you up and about doing a bit more. Surprising what y😅u can do in a couple of hrs indeed. Well done x Hope Mrs King is doing ok x
So many times I hear the idea that next year's success begins in the autumn. I think you are well prepared Mr King! Wonderful work. Hope all going better at home.
@@GordonjSmith1 who in the right mind leaves it till spring and waste valuable time to get planting. I like to open the beds up a couple of weeks before to let them breathe.

Hey Terry, nice rocks by the flamingos. Have you ever thought of contacting the people who unscrupulously dump the coir and see if they will deliver for you?
@robinkennedy9974 nobody knows who they are and where they grow and there must be 1000's of them growing so I am happy to get what I can when I can, never contacted the police to see if they can help, but they destroy everything so it can't be used elsewhere.
Hey Terry 👋🏻👋🏻👋🏻 I was just thinking about collecting some leaves today, not as many as you though 😊 I got myself a bag of horsey poop for my rhubarb 😁 I think the bags feel lighter because you're getting stronger 💪🏻😜 When you were doing the second bed I noticed the plastic coming away, I was shouting out to tell you, good old pause and record, the next shot you had stapled it up..😂🤣😂🤣 I see the rabbit was hard at work hoeing the unscrupulously dumped compost,😊🐮🐮🐮
That skeleton looked like a rather large specimen, Terry! Maybe that's the creature that feasted on your corn last year? Do you ever find worms in the dumped coconut coir? I'm surprised anything grows in it without adding amendments like compost or worm castings. ~ Sandra
@NanasWorms hahaha I did find 6 corns near the hollow log so maybe. It's a great addition to my other amendments Sandra, but coco coir on it's own is only good for seeds.
Getting stuck in there Terry. You're right about doing a bit here and there. You don't want to kill your back and be unable to do other jobs. Little and often as you say. Id be ever so carefil with those dumped bags, in case of sharps. You never know. Take care and ❤️ for Mrs K. I hope shes feeling much better.

@TheRightPearPlot the leaf mould is so much better after two seasons so well worth the wait. Thank you, update on Mrs K very soon.
Ever so slightly jealous of your manure and compost beds. Prep now for the rewards later. Great update as always Terry 😊
@GardenerGray the weather here in the Midlands is barmy for November so do a few little jobs as I feel fit.
Hi Terry I use a rake and a snow shovel to pick up leaves, don't have to bend over👌👍😁

I just collected load of leaves 1st time in a while.
@from_plot_to_plate_no_dig they are nice and dry this season and the wind hasn't blown them away so my body is allowing me to collect a few.

Evening terry. Lovely video again. Do you put your manure in a ibc tank to catch the liquid
@richardhughes1076 I had an IBC that was rotten on the top from the sunshine so cut it in half, it works well Richard.
@terrykingsallotmentgardening thanks terry. Do you think it would work with a wheelie bin with tap in the bottom.
Most defiantly. just add some chicken wire so the hole doesn't block up.
