Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice Guardian Ape Boss Fight

I was actually doing pretty good when I first fought the boss since my tactic was to stay behind the monkey as much as I could. Either way, it still took me quite a few more attempts because of terror mechanic.

dude, use spear to pull the centipede when the ape staggers, deflect 2 attacks perfectly and it staggers, use any umbrealla for the scream unless its new game plus

pretty smart actually. I was thinking when you would want to use that spear the other day, if you're referring to that spear that strips armour, but I appreciate it. I will do NG+ at some point so this helps.
