You are such an inspiration! I'm having trouble keeping up. but continue to watch the videos and they are giving me such great ideas for the many quilt tops that I have sitting waiting to be quilted. I'm glad that they are there to rewatch for later. Thanks so much!
I caught up this weekend. It feels so good to be on track with these lessons. I have never done this before and I am fascinated with how good it is turning out.
This is an excellent explanation - I'm so glad you talked about adjusting for the size of the template vs the size of the quilt space. This is a great demonstration.
Thank you, Angela! I struggle with oval rulers and arcs. I bought the Arc Ruler you recommended when I did one of your Craftsy classes. I was successful when quilting with it in that class, but have struggled ever since. This video helps my brain wrap around using an arc ruler.
I’m finally starting to use some ruler work on actual quilt I’m planning to give to a little lady. You make it look so easy and doable! Thanks for all the inspiration and techniques for using these rulers.
I've had that arc set for years and never thought about repositioning them to make them fit the space 🤦 Thanks so much, Angela, for this lesson - I'm getting them out of the box!
Wow thanks so much Angela. I have been quilting for a while, jumped in and purchased arch rulers, but never got the hang of them. Going to dust them off and start quilting.
I agree with Elaine. I bought Archie for this challenge and not the other arc rulers so not sure how to quilt this. I hope Angela can address this in her live chat and I'll wait to quilt mine till then to see if she addresses this. I really don't want to purchase additional rulers since I have just bought 7 rulers recently.
I am not able to download the Week 3 quilting diagrams and tip list. I was able to download Weeks 1 and 2 and have found them to be very helpful, along with the videos.
Angela, I am just on week 3 and find that I like using the ruler but the biggest challenge is when I stop to reposition. I get a jagged start when the needle begins stitching again. Hard to make that nice smooth line that you say is important.
I am really enjoying this project and learning a lot. What stitch length do you use on the long arm for these rulers? Is it different for waves and curves then for straight lines?
Do you know when your low shank rulers will be available? Your current rulers are too thick for use with my machine and I would like to be able stitch the quilt patterns you have demonstrated in your great tutorials.
I have a carpenter star quilt that I have been wondering about how to quilt. I am getting ideas from your challenge. I just finished a panel by dividing it into squares and trying out many of the designs and rulers. I am enjoying this type of quilting more than I thought I would. Kinda nervous to try a larger quilt.
I have a general question regarding your quilt sandwich. I have noticed that you don't use pins or basting. Are you using a spray adhesive? It looks like your quilt has a tendency to bunch up form time to time. What is the best way to handle that. I'm not super experienced with machine quilting and the quilt shifting or bunching has been an issue for me. Any thoughts? Thanks
Just what I needed. Bought one and don't know what to do with it. thanks, Angela

I can definitely address this if you'd like. This is why showed how to extend or shorten any arc rulers.
Diane Kirkland - me too. I’m using it currently to just to the floral area, like concentric petals, and see what she says on Thursday.
I just released a bonus video that shows how!
I watched last night. Thank you so much. Can't wait to try it out.

Repositioning, never thought about that. I have placemats with pumpkins and need to quilt the lines on the panel. Now I know😁

Love your videos! Great idea for making area smaller for smaller ruler but... what is the template called and suggestions to find it. Thanks!
Hello, how are you doing?
Well this was interesting. I don't have arc rulers like this but I do have the Archie so now I will go see if I can figure him out.
Check out my newest video, its a quick clip that shows you how!

What is the stencil you used to Mark a smaller quilting area?
Hi, how are you doing my friend?
Could you do a short clip of how to do those long curves with Archie? It’s the only one I have with anything like an arc.
I will address this during the live chat!
I just posted it, hope you like it!
I do not have those arc rulers, but I did purchase Archie, Squiggy and Taj. Could one of those be used?
You could definitely use taj or archie. I just released a bonus video that shows you how!

Hi Cathy
What if you don’t have that ruler? Can you use one of yours? I have Taj and Squiggy.,
Yes you can, that why I show how to extend or shorten rulers. I will definitely talk about this during the live chat
The point is tricky to get around.. I’m using Archie.
