Wow, his accent has not changed at all and he's been living in the UK forever! If I can see Webber win the Australian GP this year (or even podium) I can die happy :)
@BiggerThinking1 Yet Petrovs Dad brings 30 million euro to the table, Venezuala government (good old Hugo) gives Maldonado 20 million euro to play with and Webber is the bad guy? I understand that it is tough, I did F BMW Asia series then ran out of dosh and got replaced but that is the nature of the beast. People that bitch about it have only scratched the surface. I left karting knowing very well what the risks were and the stresses my family had to endure. It's just racing.
how does it not, from the previous comments youve just whined the whole time about a normal process. how does beating someone in karting guarantee that you'd be better than both of them now IF you even did.
I could construct a much better more unique reply if I wanted to, but you are not worth it. So you can enjoy all the over used unimaginative replies that are used so willingly online as that is all you deserve. I'm sure you will reply to this as you think that the one who has the last word "wins", but know this, please do it anyway because I sure do enjoy a laugh reading stupid comments online.
@BiggerThinking1 I NEVER said ALL "REALLY" good karters become mediocre and ALL mediocre karters become good race car drivers. Don't try and put words in MY mouth when your trying to get your point across. All I said is that there can be exceptions... but obviously you think there can never be exceptions. Also Webber may have been average in Australian Formula Ford but unlike those that had more talent and were "better" drivers he worked hard and got himself in F1
@BiggerThinking1 Of course it bloody does, have you ever been to a kart club? Even the kids winning aren't the best, they're in the top categories because they have the money for a couple chassis, full rebuilds between meets and money for track rental. If you want to make a small fortune in racing you have to start with a large one. I don't like it anymore then you do but racing and getting seats (or in my case losing it) is all about money, money, money and money. Nothing new.

Thankyou!!!!
"Basically" mate you need to follow your own advice. Bigger thinking indeed
His accent has changed. He's totally less bogan sounding.
Fantastic, thanks for posting.
"It (the pressure) could be very scary if I do make F1". Love it!!

@BiggerThinking1 Karting isn't the be all end all, there have been MANY drivers that have been average in karts but been very very good in cars
👀👀
I think he'll go alright in f1? Might win a race? 🤣

@BiggerThinking1 mate are you for real or just trolling, because you clearly have no idea. Nepotism... I actually laughed at that.
