Could you do a video showing how to uninstall them and move them to another room?

@@Delyn, so I bought the cellular shades to fit inside the window instead of in front of the window. While I’m generally happy with them (room darkening, quick up & down, not too loud), there are 2 things I’m not so happy with. The “smart” aspect is frustrating. The button that you need to push for hooking the blind to WiFi, connecting to the remote, all of the functions really; is on TOP of the blind. If your blind becomes disconnected or you want to change some of the settings you have to take the blind down; literally uninstall it from the window! Not terrible if you have a small window that’s not too tall, but one of my blinds is on a window 12 feet in the air behind a desk. I have to unplug electronics, move furniture and climb a ladder to reconnect to WiFi. Very frustrating! The other issue is the battery pack on the cellular shades. While I bought the solar charger for the windows in the sun, I have 3 windows that are under a porch and get no sun. I decided to rely on the charging cable for those. The battery pack is separate from the blind and attaches to the header on the back of the blind. The USBc port is on one end and very hard to reach without risking mucking up your blinds. I ended up going on Ama@zon and purchasing some short USBc jumper cables to leave plugged into the battery packs. I used some museum gel to stick them to the side of the window frame out of sight, but easier to reach to plug in the charging cable. While I’m enjoying the cellular shades when they work; given the frustrations, I won’t purchase any more of these and would not recommend them. Try Smartwings blinds or zebra shades. 😬🤔

That’s unfortunate, were you able to find the matter code on the shades?

I had issues with one in my office and had to reset the device. Might need to look up how to reset and try that?

I've been looking into these. I am curious if the battery is out can you still close / open the blinds? Is there a pull string? Or would you have to charge before opening / closing. Thanks!

You’ll just need to plug it in to charge. I haven’t ever had the batteries run out and have charged it maybe 2 times since this video

Great video, Dylan. The surprise exclamation you gave when realizing how easy they were to install was great. One thing that would be great to see is how you select the type of shades. I suspect it might be a bit different when you get them for gratis, but showing how the process works for regular customers and then cancelling it out (or some other way to not charge yourself!) would be super helpful and, frankly, novel. I’m not sure I have seen anyone do this.

Great idea, I may be grabbing another shade at some point and will keep that in mind! Thanks for the support!
