This was actually a heart-felt gesture which many servers rely upon to make ends meet. Makes a refreshing change to see someone being nice to servers instead of being rude, offensive and insulting. Great video.

My grandfather had a friend back in the 50s who was a bellhop at a famous hotel in SF. He parked cars, perhaps helped with luggage. Anyways, Frank Sinatra came to the hotel and asked my grandfathers friend "What's the biggest tip you've ever received?" He said "Honestly, a thousand dollars"
So Sinatra doubled it and gave him a 2,000$ tip
