Frankie had some game, the spiritual successor to Omar! And the kid Merritt with 11 total innings pitched in the majors pulled off an improbably 4 1/3 innings of shut out ball against a very good BlueJay line up. I've never been more excited/scared in my life. The last time I saw a world series with my beloved Tribe I was still in college and here we are. Oh my gosh I can't watch!
I saw this live when I was extremely young, like still in machine pitch little league. That year, my team was the Chicago cubs, and I was just learning about the playoffs, trading, and other things like that in mlb. I thought it was the best thing, so I stayed up as late as my mom would let me watching every single game of the playoffs. Through all my years of being a young kid, the one thing I can remember crystal clear is all the playoff games of 2016. I just graduated little league last year, and I’m about to cry watching all of my favorite clips from 2016 postseason
Just moved to Orwell, OH a year ago from VA. Really haven't experienced a hometown professional club before and was blown away by the camaraderie and passion that Cleveland fans display for the Tribe. Maybe it's the fact that the Indians haven't won a Series in almost 70 years. Or it could be this momentum from the Cavs championship in early summer to really want a baseball championship. I don't know. What I do know is, I think I may be an Indians fan now and I love me some Hammy! And Rosenthal...

I don't get to watch the games, I can only listen to Tom on the radio every game. My friend told me that the tbs crew was pretty darn horrible as well.
I guess I'm glad that I didn't have to watch it and hear him then. lol I was outside with friends drinking some beers, and listening on the radio to Tom. He got so exited on that last out and we were jumping for joy. lol
Tell me about it. As a Texas fan I get exactly where you're coming from. I will say, Edwin seems pretty nice and there are some good Toronto fans, but they have the worst bad apples in the league and Donaldson and Bautista are huge douchebags.
Edwin bitched to the umps after every strike out and was taunting the indians dugout when he got that double in game four Celebrating is cool but doing all that when you're still gonna be down 3-1 is a douche move
the best troll of the entire series was Cody Allen, putting Bautista on base to start the 9th in game 5, so he had to stand there and watch his team fail to get him home so he could affect the outcome at all
