The sticker on the pickguard has been recycled from the last run of 70’s Strats. if you notice it says copyright 2019 that’s why it’s the incorrect pickup description on the sticker. They should have made a new one.
It has the custom shop ‘69 pickups in it.
I love the colour and the large headstock .
Not a UK exclusive. Was available at Sweetwater here in the States too in the same Buttercream finish.
In the UK it was an exclusive to the chain store GuitarGuitar, that’s what I meant by that bit :)
I got one of these and dont even like fenders got it in a trade, but dayum best guitar I have and takes distortion like a beast!
Thanks for this just ordered this couldn’t find any videos on it
There’s a video on this coming soon comparing it side by side to an actual 70’s hard tail strat
Same, can’t wait for it to arrive !
@@GuitarTalkUK do you have a link for that video?
@@conorfurlong it actually got pushed back til next month because I filmed some other reviews for new products I wanted to get out but just because you asked I’ve made the comparison video live now!
@@GuitarTalkUK great thanks! 🙌
Looks and sounds lovely 😁 great vid dan
Nice video Dan, really like that guitar.
Role intro.
Nice looking guitar as always lol... ✌️🎸👍
Hell YESSSSSSS
Wish fender did this with a trem....
They did, only for a year though. It was available in mocha with a maple fretboard, aged natural with a maple fretboard and sienna sunburst with Indian laurel fretboard.
Only if there was one for sale 😐😐😐😐 i want 70s spec hardtail strat soo bad.. but options are almost zero...
I’ve got a brand new black Vintera 70’s hardtail. I believe they only made a short number of those as well. I got mine in Canada. I’m more of a tele guy so I’m planning on selling this one. It’s a great guitar though. If I wasn’t saving up for a vintage tele, I would keep it.
7 inch radius!? it's not a C shape neck it's and O shape!
Actually as mentioned in the video it’s a 7.25 inch scale and the Fender Specs on this particular model list the neck profile as an “early 70s C shape”
@@GuitarTalkUK I'm being facetious, I'll still buy one.
All out of phase. Bleh
