This was a very interesting dialogue between 2 huge studios in gaming right now. I am absolutely addicted to Horizon and it caught me off guard. I never expected it to be this good, it's one of the best gaming experiences I've ever had! please make more videos like this in the future Sony.
I am glad that Naughty Dog has stuck to linear level design after all these years because I feel the open world genre is becoming seriously over saturated. Horizon Zero Dawn has a great open world map but I don't want a dev to make an open world game unless they absolutely know how to make a good one and take their time. I feel Rockstar Games, Bethesda Game Studios, and even CD Projekt Red are some of the best at crafting amazing open worlds because they polish them and take their time making the maps.
I loved what they did in Uncharted 4 by giving small sections of open world. The Kings Bay market, the safari ride and the at sea levels are some of my favorite. Like they allow you to explore on your own in a game all about exploration and discovery, but when you're done with it it can go right back into a fun linear narrative. What they did was smart by not having a complete open world.
This is like one of the coolest thing I have seen on the internet. Two brilliant and hard working game developers just sitting down and chatting about games. Love to see more of these Sony.

Alexander Wayne, if they collabed on a game together they would break the economy the game would be so perfect.

The Decima engine is the Killzone engine.

Yea Uncharted 4 and Resident Evil 7 are keeping linear alive.
SmoothLegend yes. also future naughty dog titles, a lot of good stuff on the PC, and some of the titles that Nintendo makes.
Sic Parvis Magna I mean linear games as a whole. that's one type of linear design choice.
Elijah Clevenger yeah CDPR really polish their games. (Pun intended)
Both these guys have such amazing vision and persistence. Amazing talent
The Last Of Us: Ashley Johnson
Horizon Zero Dawn: Ashly Burch 😂
The reason I got a PS4, for these two amazing games!!!
Ashley Burch also voiced a character in the last of 2
@@badreedinedjellali1328 I know, I just finished the game and heard Mel and was like I know that voice 😂

Love that the rivalry and the respect are both evident. "We have to top this"
