Childhood memories and joy all wrapped into one. Sidenote Chowder is peak and Class of 3000 is extremely underrated. This video was a blast from the past, thank you.
Before we had adventure time and regular show, During the early to mid 2000’s my favorite era of Cartoon Network had to be the CNCity era and Cartoon cartoon Friday’s with must watch heavy hitters that’s just hard ignore like Ed Edd Eddy, courage, Knd and them, especially great underrated classics like the life and times of jumpier lee, class of 3000, xaolin showdown, totally spies, and hi hi puffy amiyumu. Who can forget about when Cartoon Network presented kids wb when it comes to the toonami block, I’m talking about best shows like Jackie Chan adventure, Pokémon Yu gi oh and static shock.
all of these cartoons were really the best and when you talked about those crossover snippets, i couldn't agree more! like i did not fully understand what a multiverse was or the deeper implications of it, but I totally enjoyed seeing all the characters of my fave shows just interacting and living in the same place
Girl trust me, I legit remember back in 2006 when recusing recess was pretty straight fire just to have kids get active, stay fit and shape. And that was when I was like 7 I had told my teacher about it back in elementary on their website that CN was doing a volunteer campaign to help quote on quote prevent and save recess😅, my school was required and CN legit gave us some cool promo bag kits and sport gear.
I remember this era so well! Definitely the highlight of my otherwise pretty awful childhood lmao. I wish we lived in an alternate universe where Cartoon Network Studios wasn't shut down by the worst CEO next to Elon Musk and for their anniversary they brought back CN City as online shorts where they had their modern cartoon characters interact with their legacy characters. Also Chowder was the BEST CN SHOW AND I WILL DIE ON THIS HILL!!11‼️‼️
Its weird to me how most people grow up with a generation When i was watching CN from like 2008 to 2013 they were airing shows from every era, PPG, Dexter, Samurai Jack, all Ben 10s, Chowder, Flapjack, Adventure Time, Steven Universe, Gumball etc.
Not me getting sent BACK with this one! Love being a CN kid Im pretty sure cowder got me into cooking and food. CN always looked different than nick or diseny and seeing different styles and stories really solidified my early love of animation Its funny cause before cartoons would sell toys and big wigs would use that model for years and years. Not saying CN didn't do that with Ben 10 cause they absolutely did but CN had a way of making good entertaining shows that would want to make you buy toys because the show was good now they don't sell much toys to that demographic anymore cause there's competition with video games and the fact kids watch more RUclips and twitch than network tv Which sucks cause CN does have interesting shows right you just don't see them or CN doesn't advertise as hard as they used to Definitely think there's a whole other video about that topic but that's a whole other video essay 😂😂 Would love to see a 2009-2013 CN deep dive cause that was personality one of my favorite eras ( Genarator Rex, Adventure time, regular show, clone wars, secret Saturdays etc) and my gym partner was weird you were not alone in thinking that Also wasn't the biggest fan of camp Lazlo but it was better than my gym partner
@AlleyDreamer Big wigs never know how to adapt I swear 🙄 then complain that nothing works Also I loved class of 3000 gone before its time if you never really watched it give a chance!

YES!!! I have only seen a few episodes of class of 3000 but I love Andre so I might revist it 😭

Yes omg espically the Toonami block! That's heavy nostalgia right there

Yeah it was always so fun!
Not liking My Gym Partner is a Monkey shows your lack of taste but I’ve been dealing with that our entire childhood…

Save recess 😭😭 I love it
17:17 god that idiot zazlov deserves to be booted off. The damage he's done to animation is heartbreaking
HARD AGREE

Oh yes definitely! I still hold a lot of nostalgia for 2008 to 2013 CN as it was me going from a kid to teen!
I miss this era 🥺& I love your hair & makeup!!

Which sucks cause CN does have interesting shows right you just don't see them or CN doesn't advertise as hard as they used to
Definitely think there's a whole other video about that topic but that's a whole other video essay 😂😂

BROOO THE TOYD STUFF YES. like they could easily tap into that market again if they just teamed up with roblox or fortnite or something lmao
