Ryan your videos are incredible. I love enjoying these to pump me up for a run or just to get through a tougher day knowing it cant be worse than running 100 miles. Keep up the awesome footage, I cant wait to see the next big races!
Thanks Kevin!! That is so cool to hear. Hope you were able to make it out for a run today and had a great time!!
Nicely done Ryan, Thanks for capturing the experience.
Thanks man, it was so much fun!!
so many 14ers to choose from for this weekend! thanks for sharing
Awesome!!! Have fun!!!!
Dude that was Epic!!!! Thanks man!
Thank you!!!
Climbing Mt Massive was one of the best things ever for me. Well done
Awesome!! When did you climb it?
Back in early June 2018!
Sweet!!
Watched it again. it's a shame you don't have more views on this one. Top 5 of yours in my book.
Yes, one of my favorites too!!! Such a fun day
Todos vienen por Outlast xD
Great video. Gotta get myself in shape to do this!!
Thanks Brian, go for it!
Mount Massive is the 3rd largest peak in the contiguous United States and the 2nd tallest in Colorado, just a stone's throw away from the Mount Elbert.
It's a great hike and a beautiful view from the top!
Amazing nice job Ryan et al. I know you live in Indiana but at least you can get to Colorado and the big tops. Highest in UK is Ben Nevis (Scotland) at 1,344m and highest where I live is Snowdon (highest in Wales & England) at 1,085m. Consolation is at least I have mountains to play on, despite their modest heights! Dream destination is Colorado for running...one day.
Thanks, yes it truly is a dream destination!
Really cool video, getting me super exited for my first 14er ! What water pack are you using in this video ?
Just found your video. Excellent!
Thanks Marty!!
Took my buddy and I two times before we made it to the top. About 12 years ago. Toughest thing that I've ever done!!!
Awesome!!! It is such a fun experience!
Alright! Do Longs next !
I’d love to, maybe next time I’m out there!!!! Thanks!
I'm (very) close to just biting the bullet, packing up, and moving back to the Rockies. These aren't helping.
Haha, yeah buddy, I hear ya
Beautiful video in a beautiful part of the country. What song is playing in the beginning, I really like it?
Hey Ryan. Which route did y’all take?
How long did it take round trip?
I met a women training for the Leadville 100 on mt massive last weekend. She was from NY.
Awesome, that's a great place to get a last hike/run in before the race!
RYAN, NICE VIDEO. I WATCHED SEVERAL OF YOURS. TELL ME, WHAT VIDEO SOFTWARE PROGRAM DO YOU USE IN ORDER TO POST ON RUclips???? KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, PEOPLE BENEFIT FROM YOUR EXPERTISE.....
Thanks! I use Premiere Pro to edit all my videos
So, a climb like this is basically a power hike, right? One of the biggest lessons I learned after becoming an ultra trail runner is the fact there is a lot of walking involved :)
For sure! This is a power hike to the top. Anything over 3-4% is usually a hike in an ultramarathon. Unless you are racing for a top spot, most of us should conserve the energy and not burn our matches trying to save time getting up a hill our mountain.
@@RyanClaytonFilms I'm more of a "race to beat the cut-offs" kind of runner... In any case, well done on that climb - your channel has given me some great ideas for races I'd like to do
jwh2f awesome, thanks for letting me know!
"What's the highest point in Indiana?" "Maybe like 800 feet." LOL
yep probably somewhere around there haha!
