Tough day all around for us. Definitely Hawk related. Time to focus on young birds and let my birds molt and do the lights right next year. I’m happy you got all your birds back and maybe I’ll come by and hang out with you for the 500 king of the East next week if you want some company.

200 miles is tough racing 6 versus the other guys 20-25. Still decent to be in top 20%. How many young birds do you still have versus what you had?

It's been bad, just as bad as last year! I will only do that evaluation when I start road training. I can't keep counting and seeing the numbers going down. I have hawks nesting nearby and they're relentless on my birds. I need to take different "measures" about these hawks. Never thought they would be attacking in mid May but just yesterday my birds got attacked again. My birds don't even want to get out of the aviary. I stopped doing videos on the topic because I'd be banned with my foul language 🤣
