- Treacherous road conditions at Patkai bridge area have turned daily commutes into a nightmare.The risk extends to drivers as well, with cars and two wheelers frequently skidding off the slippery roads and encountering stagnant water potholes , increasing the likelihood of accidents and injuries.

The government should also take up the niuland-zadema-kohima route too. This route is much shorter than Shoxuvi-jalukie-medzepima road. Another new road from Hozukhe (niuland district) to kohima is also left half done. Why is the state government forcing it's citizens to risk their lives every summer by making no alternative route but to traverse this pagla pahar road?
This NH 29 is not only Nagaland dist travelers..but its connected to mizoram n Manipur till Myanmar border...if i don't mistake so atlist govt should take serious n make new bridge before its collapse.... don't wait for accident and collapse..
