One month back our family went to visit my in-law house, had our dinner there and on our way back home, our vehicle got problem and despite trying for about 20 minutes, I could not able to start my vehicle at DC court junction, and this man appeared from nowhere and running here and there as if he has concern and trying to help us, and telling us that he has called one of his machanic friend and will be right here , as we were waiting for his friend to come to solve/fix up our vehicle problem,, within no time he has scammed Rs 500 pretending that we are his family to one pan shopkeeper who is also assisting us,, and disappeared with the money,, this is the same man, has tattoo and wearing earing. Good that he was caught today, this scammer should be given severe punishment.

This guy has been scamming all over Dimapur for years and yet everytime he gets caught he's let out somehow. He has been scamming multiple shops across dimapur and has been using the same modus operandi which has been similar since 2017. I came across him in midland in 2018 and he ran away when I tried to stop him. He will be out soon and will scam people again because he seems to have connections somehow. Those days it was the 2000rs note where he would run off after taking the change while a running auto would be waiting for him... his nickname is TINTIN...
