- Join Mr. Revealing as he shows you the dash being removed in order to access and remove/replace the stock factory stereo. This is being done in order to install a new Xtrons 9" Touchscreen Receiver. This is for a 3rd Gen Toyota Prius.

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WATCHING!
Thank you for the detailed instructions.
And the reveal remains unrevealed. I couldn't wait to see the smoke roll out after guessing what plugs to what. Was the $150 including the tow truck trip to the location where they wired it correctly? Sorry but I was expecting more.
Honestly I felt dumber after this video. Watching him try to connect plugs that obviously don’t fit felt like a Scene from the movie IDIOCRACY
what for you make this video ?? you obviously didnt now how to do an install which is y everyones watching it
Loved the video! Could you share the screen brand you bought and any additional hardware that might have been needed? Thank you
I am kind of disappointed that you were not able to film the entire install. I just bought one like this , its a Hizpo and I was hoping to see what it took to install the 12v to 6v step down as that looks like the most mysterious part of the whole install.
I have also hizpo but front doors spekers didn't work
@@rojvan7164 you may have an amp that controls the front speakers
the 3 plug harness connects the radio to the extension box, the extension box was used for bluetooth, and other things like apps. you can just change the extension box on those if your bluetooth or other apps don't work.
I’m thinking of a similar upgrade, but such an upgrade means losing the “Setup” and “Car” buttons on the factory radio. The “Car” button displays hybrid performance information on the screen. The “Setup” button provides several functional changes (auto lock/unlock, auto on/off lights, etc.).
Does the new unit still allow you to see this info and make changes to car functions?
All I heard is, I don't know what I'm doing, but he is an expert?
Hallo please can you tell me if all speakers working because I have also same android unit but front doors spekers dose not working
Did you use the OEM reverse camera? I'm i bought a 2014 Prius and the previous owner install an Android touch screen but didn't know how to get the reverse camera to work. Any suggestions?
How to reset airbag sign please??
Is all steering button work after?
can it show the vehicle Maintance like the stock system ie milage to change oil. and oil filter
How do you get the volume buttons to work on the steering wheel ?
Get a harness to connect from the head unit to the steering wheel
Fancy man! I'm kicking myself every day the screen is worse. I've seen maybe three I could have grabbed from the salvage yard and maybe at least two were on 50% off sales so would have been like $10-20. Anyways... good deal and thanks for sharing!
How much does it cost to do at a stereo place?
Anyone ever found a good link or doc?
Did you need to purchase an additional wiring harness the for the install?
I had to purchase several different items, they are all listed in my other video "Toyota Prius 9" Android Touchscreen Unboxing and All Needed Connectors for Install" Check out the video here or search my other videos: ruclips.net/video/vt1I_KyGA0c/видео.html
What name have That camera Thing
Omg its so funny no one shows how to install the unit to the brackets when putting it in. I mean did they disconnect old brackets and reinstall them to the new unit?
This video taught me not to make video if I do not know what Im doing.
Hahaha, he is complicating stuff, why remove all that documents cabinet 😂 for the radio
❤🎉
People watching this video are not experts. Basic audio and jbl audio have different harnesses. You can list the harness links you used, but you don't display any. What was your reason for posting this? You need a link, but you don't have any. Anyone can separate this. People wonder what parts you use. Do you want to show off this video?🤣
A bit disappointing since you guys paid another $150 to finish the job. The reason I watched this video was to avoid that and do it myself. I guess you can't win them all. Bummer.
Hmmm well this video was disappointing! Pretty much useless for you ending up taking it to a shop!
I had to dislike this video my friend. It wasn't helpful for me. I did help me to NOT buy what ever brand this was. You were short on the fine details of something so technical and coming from China who don't give instructions.
Wtf is this
