    I've got 16 hours on my MT122 TLB. You definitely need something heavy on the back when doing loader work. These machines can lift quite a bit more than they should without ballast. I would try to avoid filling the tires if it's going to be your primary lawn mower. These are more than heavy enough to make ruts in the lawn and excessively compact the soil, especially if it rained in the last 2 or 3 days. You don't want to be carrying extra weight in mower mode if you can avoid it.

    Good evening Dave, nice addition to your tool shed. That unit will work out great in those closer areas of the barn and yard for sure. You will still get plenty of use out of your bigger tractor too. . Did a great job with it so far and more to be seen. Thanks for sharing with us and keep up the good work and videos. Fred.

    I have the XJ2025H for a year and a half now. 113 hrs. Love it . Plan to add 6 inch steel rear spacers and 3 or 4 in alum spacers on front. It is pretty unstable on inclines. We have the r4 tires. I think I'm going to get a second set of rim's with ag tires on them and the fluid like my r4's have in them. Since you have mt for around the house work are you considering the ag tires for the 35 horse ls now. So much more traction on my friend's kioti 25 horse tractor with the ags than my r4 tires. So far we just trade tractors when we need the other tires. Nice to have friends you can count on . Sure you're going to love the new work horse. Later

    You're really going to enjoy having a tractor dedicated to cutting grass and smaller chores. That's specifically why I have a smaller Massey sub-compact to perform tasks in small, tight spaces. Little Blue definitely has some Umhpff-power doesn't she? You moved those rounds uphill with ease. Yep, Little Blue squeezed into the tight area right next to the barn with no issues. I know you're tickled. Thanks for sharing and super congrats man. Full-watch and have a fine weekend.

    What attachment did you use as a base for the rear deck you made?

    • @OhioHillTopsHobbyFarm

      It was all made from welded 2” angle iron. But I believe king cutter has a rear carry all frame that you can also add what ever size deck to. Hope that helps!

    Good morning David. I am considering purchasing the LS XR4140c shuttle shift. I have it down to that and the Branson 4520c. Love to know your thoughts. The Branson is 4 grand more. Thanks buddy. Mark.

    • @OhioHillTopsHobbyFarm
      @OhioHillTopsHobbyFarm  4 года назад +1

      Good morning Mark. Sounds like some good news, that can will be awesome with either tractor ya get. I know it’s a tough decision, they are both good tractors! My opinion of those two tractors was developed from the 30hp range and ya know which route I went haha, to me the Branson just wasn’t as stout feeling as the LS. But my best advice is to go with the tractor that has the better dealer support! That makes a huge difference. I will say that your pick with the LS is the best choice, the XR series has a lot of great upgrades and the 41 will have the LS designed engine. That engine will only regen near the 40-50 hour mark. Mine has had 3 on at 49, 93, and just had one at 138 hours. I really like the fact that you are not regen if every 4-6 hours! Well I hope that helps buddy, I wish ya the best on your tractor search! Take care Mark 🚜👍💪

      Hey Joe, thanks for watching! Glad you like your 35, I know we sure get a ton of use from ours! As far as the comparison without getting into the specs it’s a no brainer, when i was looking for my 35HP tractor you would have to go up a few sizes with the JD to get the same performance! And as far as the 25Hp it seems similar as well. I really enjoy the MT125 it mows excellent, can climb steels banks, and is a brute when using the loader with rear ballast! Thanks again Joe, take care!

      I absolutely love this little tractor it sure is stout for its size! On flat ground I mow in high range and it really mows nice, I always shift to low range on my hills because they are fairly steep and I don’t want to over load the hydrostatic. But yeah flat yard it’s quick!
