Despite the loss is it me or are the lions showing a lot of heart this year week 1 almost came back to the 49ers, week 2 was leading at halftime against the packers in green bay, and now week 3 was just shy of beating the ravens but congrats to Justin tucker proven he is the best kicker in nfl history

He dropped 3 passes in total 2 were easy touchdowns the other was like a 30-40 yard gain hopefully he can take care of those issues
3*. Two were on the same drive and either could've potentially been a TD if he'd eluded maybe one tackler. The other was a dime on a post route _in_ the end zone that bounced off his hands.
Then you add in the miss to Andrews that could've been a TD (it was an option route - Andrews thought going right would be best, Lamar tried to lead him left), Tucker's missed FG... the Ravens could have easily put up 40 and run away with this game. So yeah, they were a little lucky to escape with a win after all that, but nobody in their right mind should be saying the Lions "deserved" to win this game. They didn't.

Nothing to be embarrassed about, the lions defense did enough to win, one of the greatest kicker in NFL history barely won a game on one of the craziest kicks ever.

Unfathomably, over the course of their train wreck of an existence, the Detroit Lions have managed to lose 19-17 on a record-breaking field goal as time expired TWICE. They have also lost to Baltimore on Justin Tucker 60+ yard field goals twice.
The FG never would have happened if they called the delay of game againt Ravens at the end!!

They had Lamar sacked at 12:57, that’s the game. Clock would run out after the next play. But since lineman are all afraid to rough the qb, they take it easy on him and he gets out of bounds.

Considering the Cardinals kicker is the one who set the record before Tucker broke it, no one thought that was crazy. The crazy thing is that a) the Lions let him go and b) the Jags returner Jamal Agnew tied the NFL record for longest kick return (and he was a Lion last year too)

Lamar Jackson played an incredible game, but his wide receivers really are stopping him from being great. The Ravens need a true number one wide receiver. And Justin Tucker is the best field goal kicker in the league, holy crap what a leg!

i played select soccer with justin growing up. he was a 90, i was a 91. after freshman year at westlake, he switched sports and committed his life to kicking field goals. zero exageration. no one practiced more than jtuck. all he did was kick field goals...and look at him now. send off vs aggie, most successful kicker in the nfl, and now holds the longest kick ever in the league. goat status. congrat justin, you have earned it all.

Only difference is that the score that year was 18-16 while this years was 19-17.Also tucker scored more points than the ravens offense in both games

Here's how much the lions dont trust goff. First down . Need 8 or 9 to be first and goal to score a td and go up 5. They were so worried bout him turning it over they run 3 straight times for no gain and settle for 3 only going up 1. They would have let stafford throw it and I think every lions fan on earth knows it . If they let goff go for the first down , 1st and goal and score a td you go up 5 and this ridiculous 66 yard field goal never happens. This is a bigger deal than some think
Lions didn’t play no good game, it just the Ravens receivers sucked bad tdy and missed 2 or 3 easy TD catches. Lions got lucky with this score. I was at the game and its a disappointment to even go watch them.

I'm a Ravens fan and my dad is a Lions fan. We almost fought during this game. It was tense as hell.
The best the Detroit lions played defense in years. Very refreshing. Even though they lost, it was a great sign for the future for playing better and more tenacious as a defense. They mostly man handled one of the best QBs in the league other than a few critical plays. As a lifelong lions fan it was the best lions loss in years. The ravens were extremely lucky to win and the team and their fans know it.
I loved the Justin Tucker game Winning Field Goal play, it was so fun to watch him make history!
