Keep up the good work young man. You're doing a fantastic good job for a kid your age. You're the perfect example of how I'd love my son to be when he's your age. Keep it up.
Jack, This old man living in South Carolina is very proud of you. When I was your age, I had to build and repair bicycles from bits and pieces scrounged from relatives and the junk pile behind the bike shop. You are far more clever than I was at 13. 😅 Joe
That phrase ‘run to town….’ Is why Jack is the incredible young man he is. Country folks are the true glue holding this country together. Dad should be really proud. I’m watching jack getting his free truck going so it’s cool to see his old stuff too. 😁
My grandson will be 5 on Sept 23 & him & i have been watching you Jack & seeing him watch you an take everything in his brain. We live in northern NH & winters get very cold here, but we are gonna start a little greenhouse on my 3 season porch & try to grow somethings over the winter & he's excited cuz he wants to grow some huge pumpkins & watermelons in the the spring of 2024. Keep doing what you do Grow Jack & know you have inspired my 5 yr old grandson & that makes my heart full. So im gonna have to get some of your seeds for the spring & make his heart grow big fruits & veggies.. Thank you.
I think I am more excited for Jack and for watching his excitement and dad building Jack's confidence and self-esteem than Jack is. Jack's excitement is obvious and such a powerful life lesson/builder!! Your videos and time with your kids and wife(I assume she is filming when both boys and you are in the video), it is priceless time. Kudos!!!
Kent , so great to see you teaching Jack how to diagnose and think through taking things apart and reassembling all kinds of projects !! Reminds me of how my dad taught me . You're a fantastic family 👪
A Dad n 2 lads. Wow... rural America + the mom behind the scenes. I was this kid when I was young, but my dad never had the time for this stuff. For me it was self discovery. Does my heart good to see this. That little AJ, you just want to scoop that lad up and give him a big hug he is so precious. These films restore my belief in core America. I had to run away form it 54 years ago because I lived in California at the beginning of being unliveable. Brotherly love to the whole family there from Australia.
I came across your video of the free car. I wish that I had a chance to do the same when I was your age. Your dad is awesome to do that. I pretty much grew up lots of cars around just like you.
Kent you and your wife must be very proud of your Boys. I love watching Jack do all these amazing things. Keep up the good work on teaching your son's all these great skills. Thanks for sharing
First thing Ken hows you foot? I enjoy you watching you and Jack working on things. I spent alot of time with my dad in the garage. You and the misses have done an amazing job with the boys. Hope ya'll have a wonderful evening. Love you guys.
Great job Jack, with a little assistance from Dad. Can't wait to see you get it ready for the race. Take care and stay safe out there. GOD BLESS Y'ALL.
I greatly admire the persistence in you young man. You never threw a wrench, or cursed or became frustrated enough to give up. And you appeared to enjoy the learning process of fixing it yourself. Well done, I respect the young man you are and the man you will grow into if you continue growing as you currently are. Well done to your parents as well, teaching your young man that learning and persistence is an important quality in his life now and in his future. Bravo
First of all Jack Congratulations, you should be really proud of yourself; job well done. So when you had the flywheel off and you were cleaning the magnets underneath, that's called a "stator" because it remains stationery (doesn't move), and the flywheel is the "rotor," because it spins. When the magnets meet it creates a magnetic field and produces electricity to charge your battery and run your lights. A rock crawler is usually a SLOW machine because it needs torque ( twisting action) to climb over rocks and obstacles. Changing the size of the pulleys from the engine to the pulley over the transaxle will either give you more torque, or speed depending on the size. Like gears on a bike. Good luck Jack I'll be watching.
Yah Jack. That's a great toy for a kid like you. Hope it serves you well. Kent you're a great dad for helping him out with this project. Look how happy he is.
Young man keep it up !! The attitude and work ethic you have is going to take you so far in life and whatever you choose as a career!!!! Thank you for another great video!!!
I know this is an older upload but I have to say, buy you saying ➡"look how milky this is" ⬅tells me your Dad has/is teaching you well. Only good machincs old and young knows what that means. You're off to a great start young man. Hats off to both of you. - I just had to put that out there.
Well done Jack & Kent for putting this thing together & the progress that Jack has made since I first watched him on his big pumpkin competition, where he donated it to a zoo! I love to know how the pumpkin & watermelon competition went last week? Love from Port Elizabeth Eastern Cape South Africa 🇿🇦 ❤❤
I never for one second didn’t think you wouldn’t get it running. Such a great video GrowJack and Dad. The ending with the music owed me. Y’all keep doing a great job and I will do my part and keep watching. 💙💙
Grow Jack your an amazing young man. Anything you think you can do you can. When my son was 13 he bought an old lawn mower for $20.00 in the middle of the night he got it running and went on to use it to cut grass for neighbors. Oh he didn't have a gas feed so he used fishing line for gas line. But it worked so he used it. Good Luck also Dutch and Daniel sent me over.
Awesome job Jack! Be sure to wear a helmet when you take that thing rock crawlin'. And any other safety equipment you might have from BMX biking. Get a little trailer to pull behind it and will be the perfect little tractor for the watermelon patch.
I had to laugh out loud...when Jack was driving it I wondered how long before Kent wanted to try, and just then he said it was his turn! Great job Jack!
Can’t tell you how many times “we’ll be back for round … I don’t know” happens when I work on my bikes. Only makes the end result more satisfying. 😂 Keep it up! You have more knowledge than a lot people will have in their whole lifetime already. 🎉
Congratulations 👏🎉 on getting the mower started. Please wear a helmet. You are pushing this mower beyond what it was designed to do. I can't wait to see the finished results.🏁
Jack you remind me of myself at your age! You are going to be very successful and are an amazing young man!!! Jacks parents...then is a fine example of parenting done right in a very trying world. To you all keep it up!
🛠️ Great seeing a young man interested in something other than video games, enjoy watching his videos, I think you are doing a great job letting him engage in his interest, keep up the good work Jack.🛠️
This is incredible! Wayyy better than some other 'garage' channels. Jack is gifted, and needs a free ride scholarship(sp) to become a certified 'master' mech.
I just don't think enough credit is being given to you Jack, mostly for your intelligence of engines and then to HEY DAD for passing on your knowledge and expertise to Jack. What a blessing your channel is to me a momma to 3 sons myself. I enjoy watching and learning from you.😊 I think you should paint 🎨 a face on the front just for fun, then some fire 🔥 on the sides!!!!!
Great job Jack! Miracles do happen, you got that old tractor going. Proud of you buddy. Kent great edit man you sure can make some great videos. Looking forward to more projects. ✨✅✨You’re Awesome! P.s say hi to AJ. 😃👍
Jack you are an amazing mechanic for your age ...you remind me alot of my oldest son when he was your age ..we would buy broken dirt bikes and we would fix them and also working on cars...keep up the good work
Great video, super inspiring & contagiously upbeat young man! I know this was posted a long time ago but: One of the little things these frequently require is adjustment on the coil gap. On my old JD 185 this amounted to roughly the thickness of a buisness card, but what a difference when it was correct.
the magnets under the fly wheel is called the magnitto charges the batterie and powers lights etc, the other part you cleaned is the coil , make sure you torque the nut on the fly wheel down to spec, your a top bloke mate hats off to your parents, gidday from Scott in Australia

Kent I don't think you get enough credit teaching your boys necessary life skills. You're an awesome dad.
