Is an rtx4070ti overkill? It seems to be CPU bottlenecked as you get like a max of 70% usage. Would a 4070 give the same performance do you think?

yes its a bit overkill but it uses less power and its better for a 3090ti and 1/4 of the price 😮

What Don has said, any mid to high range GPUs are going to get less utilization because of the very low graphic settings

7800x3d is better for gaming then the i9 13900k, and in performance mode the game is heavily cpu bound so this shows

It's just how Performance mode works I suppose; you get higher fps in exchange for inconsistent lows. DX12 has been consistent for me to say the least

@@SamuraiJr It has always been like this, performance mode worked great in OG season because it's a non- cpu intensive map, now with a cpu intensive map performance mode falls flat on its face. DX12 is not that great either but still a noticeable improvement, expect averages and 1% lows to be double in DX12.
