    With heavy equipment, using an adequate shackle through each of the manufacturer's tie down points will make possible the use of a larger number of lower rated chains to provide the required Aggregate WLL. Generally, the heavy haul boys are looking at 1/2" chain at a minimum and sometimes 5/8" chain.
