I wish I had better eyesight so I could pull of LOS wing flying like this, I'm jealous Albert. I haven't been "feeling it" lately with quads, and wings look like so much fun. I think I might have to set one up with FPV, now that I can handle. Great review, looks fun.
As soon as I saw “Albert Kim” I came runnin’! 😁 This little plane looks pretty cool!! I think it would be a great addition to my fleet, if I had some larger spaces to fly in. I think I’d probably go with something a little slower, like a wing. Thanks buddy. Entry for SpeedyBee TX800 VTX
Nice !!!!!!! I believe the wing carbon spar you were referring to is what happened to the RC Sailors channel when he attempted to test this EDF. NICE REVIEW !!!!
@@AlbertKimTV I’m glad you did a better review. Know one would have even thought to buy this product after the RC Sailors review of this product. Thanks for everything you do for the FPV community. 👍👍👍👍👍
Looks awesome. Fast too. I'd have gotten dizzy and fallen over flying round and round like that. Does look fun. Happy flying Albert 👍💖🤓 Entry for Giveaway 8/15/2021 Entry for SpeedyBee TX800 VTX
Under normal battery conditions how many amps would you think this draws at a good cruising throttle and at full throttle? I'm wondering if I could get away with a high amp li-ion 3s pack. Thanks.
Kinda depends on how aggressively you want to fly it. I have mine set around 5mm on ailerons and 7mm on elevator with about 50% expo on my transmitter. FYI, these are highly subjective and other pilots might find these to be "too much" or "too little".
Line of sight has always been a problem with me. I started with quads and moved onto planes later. I'm working on getting back into quads more now but flying planes is so relaxing and fun. Flying a fixed wing FPV is a ton of fun too. Entry for Giveaway 8/15/2021
Hilarious, yet informative. Still flies with no nose! How did you combat the nausea? Gotta get me one of these! Entry for Giveaway 8/15/2021 or Entry for SpeedyBee TX800 VTX.
Watch some more, it flies fine with good airspeed. When you fly a new model for the first time, sometimes you don't know how much throttle to give it on launch. I don't usually do full throttle the first time because sometimes bad things might happen.

NICE REVIEW !!!!
Perhaps. I just tried to build mine with a common sense approach to avoid issues. General best practices for RC planes.

As a retired f-16 mechanic, you put the nose on up side down.
The model must be incorrect as there was a notch inside the cone and it would only go on that one way. The other way didn't work.
So saw on other videos on this plane the esc overheats if you replace it with 60A esc you will be good to go.
Perhaps that's also why the loss of power at the end.
I love the sound of it.

I'm sure any good quality battery will do better than the one I used. Stay away from anything sold at Hobby King. Totally trash sold there.
You could have kept a GoPro or an insta 360 go 2v in the plane.

Entry for "SpeedyBee TX800 VTX" are you going to give the SpeedyBee TX800 chip or the fully built quad and a beautiful video by the way.
😎
Go 4s! It might let the smoke out of the esc or it might get better, either way a good video opportunity
😎
Hi Albert, what would you recommend for elevator and aileron throws? (in mm) Thanks!

What battery rate you use to fly this?
it would be neat to get one and try and follow with a 5in

Min wax is a really good idea
Definitely helps keep the model looking new.

While the little cosmetic parts break off easily (and also glued back on as well), the rest of the model is actually pretty solid.
Nice review, factory glued the nose upside down.
There was a notch in the foam that prevented installing it the correct way.

OMG
😁
I wonder why the ESC didn't shut down the motor at such low voltage!? Surprised the plane didn't go down in flames!🤡
I think it might have at the end. I felt a sudden loss of power and could not maintain the flight.
